padrooAnyone know of a good way to raise the Prowler to do oil changes and maintenance. My old ramps are too narrow and the jacking points in the service manual are not compatible with a standard floor jack.
Greg and VetaI use a set of ramps. Maybe its time to buy wider ones.
idiveRhino ramps are wider ramps. I don't know my brand. The dealer gave them to me along with a hydraulic jack for a Jeep and a floor jack when I bought my Prowler. My ramps are wide enough for my front tires, but not for my rear tires. You may find that your standard floor jack will work just fine if you put it under the car in the open space over the arms and slide it back to the jack pad. If your floor jack is too thick, you may want to invest in a low profile floor jack.

JeraneWI use a Snap-On portable floor jack. A little pricey but has rubber pads, etc., and lifts the entire car high enough to do anything you want under the car. I park my Kat over it when not in use. Even an old "geezer" can work it.
catfishharbor freight has a aluminum racing jack, and is a low profile floor jack.1.5 tons 99.00 its blue and silver #68053 and works well.

ed monahanI have Rhino ramps or some generic equivalent. You can also make a ramp out of 2 x 6s (or 2 x 8, 2x 10) by cutting a 45 angle on the front edge and stacking them 3 or 4 hight.
Or you can drive onto a 2 x 4 to give you enough clearance to get the jack under the car.
dskattI bought ramps and a low profile jack at Wall Mart.
catfishthe low profile jack i listed is on sale at harbor freight
for 69.99---40.00 off..saw the add in the july hotrod mag.

padrooI have two floor jacks and two sets of ramps but don't like any of them for lifting the car. I did find these
http://www.raceramps.com/2-piece-56-inch-race-ramps.aspx

They are kind of pricey but this company offers several different ramp designs. I need them for my Prius because the bumper is so low to the ground my floor jacks and ramps that I own now don't work well.
