This message has been edited by bjprowler on 03-26-2011 at 11:25 PM I installed one of these on my Prowler a few weeks ago. Good quality and an easy install. They do not list the Prowler fit on the website anymore but if you call you can order it. This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 03-28-2011 at 07:56 PM Sold mine,,,,but do miss it now.. ------------------ Love your wind surpressor! Very creative!! Gone, but for sure, not forgotten.drhixsonsr Has anyone purchased the Wind Deflector from Windblox? http://windblox.biz/styles/prowler.htm
If so, any comments?fibertop Haven't tried it but the straps look a little mickey mouse. The price is right though. ALLEY CAT When clicking on > Order Online:

We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website. VinceM I made something just like this product before I was able to find an Air Patrol for sale. Mine strapped to the headrest just like this one does. I could feel buffeting/vibration in the head rest and seat when the wind hit the deflector. It was annoying and I stopped using it after one long drive. Also, it was about as effective as the Air Patrol for reducing the wind i.e. not much. However, the Air Patrol looks much better. bjprowler enzvoy call this guy he makes one for the prowler ,it mounts to the car http://www.windsuppressr.com/ Greg and Veta quote:

I have used it a few times and does not suppress the wind ,
If you want it used ...make me an offer Controldave Well, either I couldn't get the PM to send or you're going to get about a dozen of them from me. I'd be interested in that Suppressor if you really want to get rid of it. Any idea what you want for it?
DaveKevin A I agree that the Air Patrol that I used was useless and didn't help the looks that much either. The Prowler must have some shape that defies "normal" wind suppression. Avoid the hassle and don't use one. JMO fibertop these work well
and people don't come up to you with bothersome questions about your car eithered monahan I think the wind SuppreSSR helps somewhat, the Air Patrol not at all. Marty Usher I've heard having a hard top and driving with the windows up helps a lot, too! Marty Usher I liked the looks of the Air Patrol. I think it helped "change" the wind coming buffeting into the cockpit. I wouldn't say it surpressed it by any means but found it was easlier to carry on a converstion with Rebecca at highway speeds driving with the top down. Hmmm, that said - I sold the Air Patrol and never missed it! ALLEY CAT I agree with Marty. Worked fine up to around 55 mph. GOATFALLS I helped design the windblox and never liked it JeraneW Although my Air Patrol is not functional, I love it and think it adds class and individuality. Besides, it is hard to get hit in the head from behind by paint-ball guns. LOL mslc10 recieved windblox for Christmas....will report when suitable. catfish other owners who have them say they are worthless, blow the wind right on the back of your head and neck. Richiekat Fibertop: Richiekat Like others I like the look of the Air Patrol. It is essentially worthless. My Chevy SSR has a factory screen type that works somewhat better with the windows up, top down which I rarely do. My wife hates convertible hair. My two hairs love the wind!! EdsCat I have had an Air Patrol since 2002. It is more for looks, and it does that job well. I think it was one of the best looking mods ever, and is now a classic like some of the other early mods from Real Rod Bob, Prowler Pro, etc.
