HRProwlaHi Phillip, welcome to POA...

Nice prowler, always been a fan of orange...

You say its falling apart, theres lots of people on the forum that can help you get good parts at a reasonable price...

Plus, any question you got about prowlers, catfish probably has the answer.. LOL

Good luck!

ed monahanWelcome to the POA.
Why is it falling apart?
It looks fine.
stprinzWELCOME TO THE POA....

ALLEY CATPhillip,

Like the garage,,,,looks like mine, full of junk, crap, and stuff.

What is your major in college? WELCOME to the site.....

------------------

Call 911 - there is a Prowler in my garage.... along with '06 SRT10 Viper Coupe

galaxiePhillip, Welcome to the site. If you have questions, ask away.
MIKE GATLINStarting to fall apart? Most of us are too!

Welcome, fire away but mostly, have a blast!

CJPhillip.......welcome to POA! Ask any and all questions and you'll get answers!!
idiveWelcome Phillip. If you want me to add you to the Houston list of owners pm me your email address and we'll include you in any events. There's several owners in San Antonio too.
What's wrong with your car?
FYI - I had 2 bikes hanging over my car (across the front). They were just fine there for 13 years. Then one of the hooks came out one day and the bike rotated on the rear wheel still hooked to the ceiling. The bike hit some boards I had standing along the wall and knocked them down. Fortunately, nothing hit the car and the one hook held firm. But I was lucky. Just food for thought.
BeWareWelcome to the POA.
Marty UsherWelcome - I live in SA. Another member-Buddy - buys and sells Prowler parts all the time. Post what is wrong witht car and maybe he has some parts you can use.
StingRayWelcome to the POA ... please share your issues so we can all learn from the educated answers that you will receive from many knowledgable people on this site!
filluptieuWOW thanks for all the replies! didnt expect much activity on a prowler forum but im impressed!

Im about to graduate with a finance major.

My dad originally purchased this car when he graduated from Baylor college of dentistry in Dallas and only 3 years after his graduation he past away with heart failure due to his heart being worn out from surviving the Cambodian and Vietnam war. He really loves it.

Anyways the car is currently housed at a family friends house because we converted our home garage into a game room along time ago... bummer...

The driver side window motor is going out, the rear sub is blown, rubber window trim is worn, the rear mirror is sorta detached from the soft top and i think the rear diff is leaking....

I have to say though... I love 240sx nissan as i have one with a swapped sr20 i built and the prowler NEEDS A BIG BREAK SYSTEM!

blackcatWelcome!
alrtg http://www.prowleronline.com/tommills.html

Here is a link for Tom Mill's / Jefferson Auto.

Tom is a Prowler owner and has come up with many aftermarket items including a window regulator that will solve your regulator problem. I would suggest buying a pair, replace both and be done with it.

Tom's regulators are far superior to the OE regulators and actually cost less. Do a search for "window regulator" and you should be able to read past posts on the subject.

Welcome to the site and enjoy the Kat.

onecatnodogWelcome Philip... Lucky guy to have a Prowler at your age... What is it a Plymouth or a Chrysler Prowler?... I will have to agree with you about your every day driver as the little Nissin gets great gas mileage even with the engine transplant, cheap on insurance for a young guy, and lots of parts in the junk yards for them as they made a bunch of them... You can find them for sale from one needing work at around $1,000 to the car that was used in the Fast and the Furious movie with just 100 miles on the complete costom paint and engine work for $24,000... But the Prowler is just something more than a car, as you found that out when you posted... It's the people that own them... The Prowler Changed my life when I got her... Just did a trip to Houston and Prowler owners came out of there way to come see me... People that I had never met before, bought me lunch and we traded stories.. Prowler owners are from all walks of life.. Some like me that are lucky to own one, and some that have the money to have more than one... They have always treated me as a equal.. You wont find that with other car clubs out there... The Problems that you are experiencing are not new to the Prowler.. Do a search on this site and you will find the easy and some cheap fixes for them... The back window can be re glued as some have done it and shared just HOW TO.. If it's the mirror that has the problem, you just need to tighten up the center swivel screw... Heck send me the window regulators and I will fix them free just as I have done for many.. You just have to pay the shipping... Take that Prowler out for a spin and place a cardboard under it and the leak will be a easy find.. It may even lube up the seal and fix the leak that you think you mite have... You will see why we love the cars when driving them... You will get the finger as you drive by, (The Pointing Finger) that is.. Park the 240 SX next to the Prowler out some where, but be prepared to answer questions on the Prowler... All the info can be found on this site so study up and turn some wrenches yourself like I do.. Thanks for posting up with a picture as I love the photos..Send me a E mail and I will help you fix those simple problems.. jcollinshemi@yahoo.com or call me at 720-934-3540... Enjoy your gifted toy!
John(onecatnodog)Collins Mile Hi Prowler President

Just some of the Houston Prowler Owners
filluptieuAwesome guys! thanks for all the replies again! I do love my nissan, since i did everything myself, im even going to tune it myself, just purchased a datalogger wideband but i love the prowler. I hope everything wokrs out and I can afford to keep it but with 63,000 in debt from college.... future is kinda hard to predict. and thanks for all the advice, I love working on cars, like I said I do everything, from motor swaps and all and is all self learned since I was 14 (same time I swapped my frist motor with no professional help). Im a very proud guy and proud to have a chance to own one!
TLRandallGlad Christian and I were able to stop by and see you John, and also the Houston "gang". Always nice to hang out with them!

He is Rich, and acts just like him too! I hope Jason gets back from St. Eustatius before the Magnolia Car Show on April 2, it will be close, but I sure need the help on that one! He has been there over a month now and the kids are really missing him, (me too)

idiveRich - It was good to finally meet the infamous Hong too after all these years.
