To speak to him directly, please call (714) 822-6086 This message has been edited by nitrosteve on 01-27-2010 at 11:08 AM I have seen some of the results and although they look OK they are by no means what I would consider a Chrome finish. Yes it shines but looks more like a semi bright polished stainless look. The other issue that his particular product has is that it does not hold up real well in a warm environment such as under the hood. I do not know how other finishes are applied, his finish is an applied finish very much like paint and is quite time consuming to apply. I for one would not part with the dollars necessary for the finish I saw. JMO ------------------nitrosteve I located a business that can chrome plastic. Those of you that want to chrome your go kart hub caps may want to call him. I am going to send him mine here in a few days. We will see what kind of work he does, he says the charge will be $20.00 per hub cap and it takes 7-10 days.

I know he has some painted center caps he wanted to chrome as well as his hub caps. Price is right. I hope the quality holds up. (And I hope Tom holds back a center cap or two.) Hairarchitect This shop in Colorado also does Plastic infact if you go to the link you will see some of their work
http://www.painteddrms.com/ alrtg I know a guy here in the Annapolis MD area that runs a Body Shop and has started to "Chrome Plate" plastic parts. TLRandall Steve let us know how they come out, I may want to do that too. ed monahan We need to find out who chromed the center caps. The backs of them are crummy but the chrome sure holds up well. GaryE I am very familiar with this process. It is not a true chroming process which is used in the industry. It is not triple plated chrome like I use. The product will not last in the outside environment. It looks like a low quality chrome in appearance. Those of you who know me, know that I do no like to degrade anyones product, but this is like throwing your money away. idive Oh that's perfect for Tom then. His cars are NEVER in the outside environment. nitrosteve He does the spray on chrome for $20.00 each, he does actual chroming like on the chrome center caps for $65.00 each. The choice is your option. TLRandall quote:
