------------------ Seen Tim Richardson do a demonstration on home powder coating, used a toaster oven, was real small part, but an electric oven will work, just don't use the one in the house. Part has to be prepped right, but you can get pro results if done right The guy that polished my trim on the Dart knows a guy that does the spray chrome and he said it looks great. Probably know how is very important for good results. ------------------Cool Cat 1 Hi Guy's & Gal's. Did anyone ever used this Company, and if so please let me know how it came out. Here is there web site. Sprayonchrome.com Thanks AL catfish never have used it.dont know if its the same as the stuff they made along time ago,it was called spray on chrome also, but was actually a silver/aluminum look.this new stuff is hopefully much better.somebody here has used it im sure, theres been a couple posts in the past about it.do a search-sprayon chrome. Richard Jackson http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=A-1cTpSZ1l8 jimsutton Looks real good wonder what the cost is ?? I have used a spray on chrome 3 stage product from a company on the west coast and spent over $500.00 on it it never looked right even with the clear it looked like a hi gloss silver and not chrome , I see that the are using a Blue tent base coat and that might be where the difference is The kit I used had a Black bast coat . I Still am interested in this product . silverkat That's a pretty impressive product and worth looking into. Do any of you guys know about these home kits for powder coating. My brother gave me one for xmas and you can get any colors and chrome also. You must bake the parts in a 400 degree oven to complete the process. Jim, Jan ever used anything like this and your thoughts? Thanx. WildCat quote:
