2kprowlerI did not see this car in person, but I had the auction house send me some pics and information. The car was on consignment and has 25,000 miles on it, a salvage title and supposedly no frame damage. Some body repair is evident. I asked the auction house if they would take down my information and pass it on to the current owner if the car did not sell or pass it on to the new owner if he was interested in selling it for a few more bucks than he paid for it. We'll, I heard the car sold in the high 17's and the new owner would take around 18k. A bit more than I was willing to pay. Would you have bought?????
I was able to get the VIN and will send to Adacus to post under Retired Kats.

ALLEY CATLining up those pictures,,,,I was getting dizzy:

ALLEY CATMy first thought,,,,,,,,,did it have the front end torn off of it? Paint doesn't match,,,,panels don't fit right,,,,,etc.

Is it a salvage title car?

I guess it will work ,,,,,,,but I wouldn't ride in it @ 130mph.

2kprowlerThanks Alley Cat,
This was my first attempt at uploading pics..
PS, you left out the first pic of the control arms. lol
You must still be dizzy from lining up the pics. I was told the car has a salvage title and that the off color is primer. I just looks as though someone went through a lot of trouble to put the front end back together. I was excited about the possibillty of getting another car which was located close and one that I would have expected to go for less than the high $17's. Next time..
idiveAC... how many miles are on this car?

What I can't figure out is how both side's front suspension was ripped off in an accident, along with some other damages, prompting the vehicle to be totaled and given a salvage title, but not cause any frame damage. Maybe trees were spaced such that when they fell on the car, they only broke the control arms and pushrods in a downward motion, straddling the car as they fell? smells like a carp to me...

Oh, and thanks for straightening out the first post...

ed monahanA lot of rust indicating it may have been sitting outside in the weather for quite awhile. The rest of the car doesn't look bad at all.
Hot ProwlI'd pay 18k if it came with front fenders...

But seriously, interesting attempt at the upper & lower control arms. From the looks of it, they did a descent job.

Kevin AThis may be the start of the first "rat rod" Prowler from the looks of it.
I agree, the fab job doesn't look too bad in the pics.

Just needs a little work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

alrtgLooks like the wheels have a little curb rash, may need a front end alignment and some touch up paint.
Advertise it as a one owner low mileage "trailer Queen"

Oops, I forgot to mention a light scratch on the "chin"

cnote6Look at the inside of the wheel in the first picture. Is that black road grime? Next if they were to powder coat the a arms silver it would look a little better.
City SimsDirty, Un-Kept and most likely in an accident.

So true.

Those are the ones the 'something for nothing' buyers are looking for. They get what they pay for........

The probably did both sides so they would match.

George JohnsonStill had the POS Dynamic Shocks on the front.
WildCatI started to have some steel chrome moly steel control arms made so they could easily be chromed. Would be light weight and strong. Got cold feet at liability so decided not to have them made.

Whoever made these did as little as possible to build them in regards to appearance, but look like the work.

Larry & Sue Mayes

cnote6OK was it relly cheaper to build them? Than buy some?
RICARDO JACKSONLooks like rust
KOOLKATAs high as the prices of Prowler body parts are. Does not take much for the insurance company to total a Prowler
phil2237Sure looks like the owner found a solution for the Chrysler Balljoint problem.
ed monahanI wonder if one side was wrecked but they replaced both sides so they would match and an uninformed buyer wouldn't realize it was a total patch job.
