Revnitup	Well I am in the market for a Prowler 2000 and up or a 2008 Corvette. I have had many Corvettes and am leaning towards something different.I have never set or ridden in a prowler and heard they are a pretty ruff ride and hard to get in and out of from what I have read but I have always loved the looks of them. If you live in Memphis,TN or close and would be willing to give a potential owner a ride around the block I would be greatly appreciative. Thank You Justin
alrtg	Welcome to the site. You will find most members are a great help, source of information, and have a sense of humor. With that said I would highly suggest a Prowler. If you are looking for daily transportation and want to be just like tens of thousands of others riding around in a Corvette, then a Vette is for you. If you don't mind being a little different and want a car that is not nearly as visible on a daily basis but will likely retain it's value better, a Prowler is a better choice. Yes you will not have as much storage space for all that sports equipment and other stuff many carry around in their cars and the elbow room may be a little less available but any inconvenience is offset by the sheer fun and enjoyment of owning and driving a Prowler. Don't get me wrong, I have ALWAYS wanted a Vette (since the mid sixties). I have owned several other neck snapping eye catching performance cars in my day but never a Vette. When I got the opportunity to buy my Prowler I had also been looking to buy a Vette. I am happier with my Prowler. This of course is only my opinion and everyone has their own preferences. Gene	I have a 07 vette coupe and had a 2000 Prowler and believe me I don't think the Prowler is any harder to enter or exit than this vette which is basely same as 08 vette.The biggest difference is the vette has elec seats and can be raised and Prowler sets really low and wife needed a pillow to see out.Of course you don't have the power of a vett.
Revnitup	Well if I do decide to buy a prowler it will be for weekend driving only a toy in a sense. I do love Corvette power and looks but I have always wanted something a little different than the ordinary.

Revnitup	I saw his prowler on here in the for sale section but he is 3-1/2 Hours from me. It really looks like a nice ride. I am hoping some one will be a little closer than that so I can make up my mind on what I want to do. I passed up a deal on E-Bay yesterday on an 01 Muhland edition if that is how you say it. But not to have ridden in one nor sat in. It was hard to click the Buy it Now Price and someone else got the deal. I was just seconds away form pulling the trigger on it. I'm sure I will find a nice car once I ride and decide.
idive	They are a bit of a rough ride, but feeling the road is part of the experience. There are things you can do to smooth out the ride. Different shocks, non-runflat tires, front end braces, and the Wonderbar. As for hard getting in and out of, the step in is high, but in no time you get use to it with no problem, and getting in and out become 2nd nature. For a weekend toy, you can't do any better than a Prowler. Might be worth the 3 1/2 hr drive to look at Tennessee Kat's car. Pick a nice day and just get out for a drive and go look at it. There's an upcoming event in the smokies. If you haven't found anyone by then I know you will get a ride there. Good luck, and welcome to the POA.
catfish	you can make the drs open 6 inches wider than stock which is a big help in getting in and out. ------------------
phil2237	If you have had older Corvettes before, you will like the ride in the Prowler alot better.
Prowl 36	I have 2 of each. The ZO6 is a powerhouse with exceptional handling, but can't hold a candle to the looks you will get with the prowler. I rarely have anyone comment on my vettes, but everywhere you take the Prowler you will be admired and sought out by many. If you are not only worried about Speed definitely opt in for the Prowler. ------------------
Prowl 36	You can also get one that's been customized or have fun of doing it yourself. It's all good. ------------------

BrianandDenise2	I have had a 1995 Corvette for over 6 years and I love it. The Prowler will turn heads probably forever. I still keep track of each Prowler I see plus we visited that big collection of them on our vacation 2006. There is jsut something so special about a Prowler. We will get there on our next car. My choice would be to pick the Prowler, from a Corvette owner.
Bama Kat	same as the above posts, you will not get the attention in a vette that you will in a Prowler. I always had people come up to look at the prowler but rarely get a comment on my vette. ProwlerBobWpg	I too have owned 'Vettes before, and if big speed or more of a daily driver is what you want stick with the Vette. If you want a car that really gets noticed get the Prowler. In the Vette, I drove it, no drama. In the Prowler, I have asked to park in special spots at car shows, have had people get out of the car in front of me at a light to take pics of my car, have been asked to bring the car as a VIP guest for club openings... and on and on. You get the picture. The Prowler gets respect from all age groups, old guys, down to the 17 year old in a Honda fart car, whatever. Guys and Gals, unbelievable. GOATFALLS	the 1st time I drove my prowler I owned it already, didn't have the nerve to ask for a test drive and it only had 4,000 miles so I figured it drove like new. Yes it takes some getting used to getting in and out but worth it. I agree with all of the above statements, nothing better for the price!
DRIVER	I have a '61 ground up restored Vette and a 2000 Prowler. The Prowler definetly gets more attention and turns more heads than the Vette.Although I love my Vette and would be hard pressed to part with it ,the Prowler is my pleasure of choise. AL
Eddie Powell	If you haven't made up your mind before October, come to Piegon Forge and ride in 100 Prowlers.
JeraneW	I have owned two vettes over the years and really enjoyed them as a daily driver as well as the performance. I always wanted a "high boy" and at my age now, 78, I do not want the headaches of keeping a "rod" running. I purchased the Prowler brand new and never drove it until I got it off the show room floor. Yes, rides rough, do not consider it a "daily driver," however many owners drive theirs everyday. I would not trade "even-up" or any other way for a Vette.
