Go Jeff! Yellows RULE I gave away a case of the blue Prowlers(thanks Bob!) That was a lot of fun and made some kids pretty happy. But there was one four year old little blonde with movie star blue eyes that stole my heart and was the highlight of the show for me. She was quite taken by the Prowler and when I handed her the little Prowler she smiled a smile that would brighten the sunniest day! A special thanks to my Mom! I couldn't have done it without her. She transported my display, helped set it up and help answer alot of looker questions and hung in there with me all four days! Jeff P.S. Thanks Geno! He's pumped up more then Bob's wife when she's over inflated. Now that's funnier then a skin head at a men's hair club convention! - Kcat Last year took the Imperial since the Dart was not done. This year took the Dart. They had so many customized convertibles they split the class to make 3 classes. I took 1st place in my class Mild Custom Convertible a long expensive weekend. I'm extremely tired and glad it is over. I watched the people as they went by the Dart over the weekend. A few pictures were taken and some stopped to look close. With The Prowler we counted the number of people that took pictures of it for one hour. There were more pictures taken of the Prowler in one hour than the Dart the whole show. None stop people stopping to look at and take pictures. It seems the public likes the Prowler much more then the show Promoters. I hope the others that show their Prowler in the ISCA shows get a better reaction than I did here in Indy. Now not all shows are like that. I was asked to bring my Prowler to the show in Dayton and one of the guys in Louisville loved the Prowler and one didn't (co event coordinators and I don't think they liked each other.....LOL) The Prowlers sure are EYE CATCHERS I guess saying Promoters might be incorrect. The shows are put on with help of a local club. Rod I think Gary would rather eat a bug than give up his orange Kat.LOL Word has it that his blood type is type O and that stands for orange in his case Larry, wow International Points Champ is awesome! Congrats Larry on the Dart. I hope to see it again this MDProwler Baltimore Convention Center today GenoTex Get em Jeff!!!!!!!! SirReal Gary thanks for posting the pics and thanks to you, Gene and Bill for coming by and giving me a much needed break.
SirReal took Best In Class and I took home some very tired feet.lol
Cindy Williams and Paul Lemat were there signing autographs. A light bulb went off over my head and yesiree I have a signed pic of them setting in my Kat. Paul behind the wheel and Cindy setting shot gun. I put the top down for the pic. Needless to say I'm pretty excited about this!!To have such a big part of American Graffiti in my Kat is priceless to me!ed monahan Jeff, Congrats. Pretty cool week-end for you. SirReal Thanks Ed! Yes it was. We need more Prowlers in these shows. I was the only one. Hopefully more next year. My feet should be healed by then. GenoTex MDProwler Easy there Geno. I thought SirReal was a feeling when Jeff experienced the Prowler however, now we must address him as Sir Jeff. It's this Best of Class thing ya know. I'm here to tell you that I personally saw a fingerprint on his car this weekend. SirReal Easy on the meds Gary Koastal Cat Looking Good ! WildCat Showed the Prowler in `99 and 2000, was international points champ in `99~2000 for Exotic Sports MIKE GATLIN Larry, Jeff-congrats! Look like great shows to be in. Rod Endsley WOW Jeff you have done us all proud what a beautiful display! Maybe now Gary will sell his orange and buy a YELLOW Rod BeWare Congrats to Larry and Jeff WildCat With the Prowler I did not feel welcome by the promoters, were with the Dart, they loved it. SirReal Kcat,Mike,Rod and Rich thanks for the kind words!
You've made me realize how lucky I have been when it comes to acceptance. MeanGene and I were personally invited to WOW by the promoters themselves. They saw us at the UPS car show (last year had over 1200 cars) and handed us applications for the Washington D.C. WOW. I'll never forget it. I didn't think mine was good enough for WOW but they insisted it was. So I went and had a ball! Winning BIC there was like gold to me and an accomplishment I never dreamed I'd realize. The Prowler was well received at both shows by the public as well as fellow exhibitors. It's a lot of fun but you're right, at the end exhaustion takes over and I'll never do it again until next yearSimonsez Attended World of Wheels last year. Made alot of friends and had alot of admirers. Only award I received was a "participation plague" which was good enough for me. Always had people stopping and looking at it. Piddler I'm sure all you guys got a lot of looks, that is what the Prowler was built for. garysss Excellent Job Jeff sorry I couldn't make it. Pictures of display look Awesome. SirReal Thanks Gary! I was lookin' for ya. I really like the Baltimore Convention Center seems to have more character than the D.C. Convention Center. It's hard to describe why, just a feeling. See you in the Spring! Marty Usher Congrats Jeff on the Best in Class and nice display.
summer some time. SirReal Thanks Marty!
