Just because they are not being made any more does not necessarily mean they should be worth more than what demand is. And from what I have seen, demand has taken somewhat of a downturn recently. ....remember, there were not many Kats made for a reason, they really didn't sell that well new, they don't fit everybodys needs....looks like your car has been for sale for 2 1/2 years....maybe post the ad more often or keep it updated, sometimes ads get worked to the bottom and people just don t research to find them....I check the board many times a day and really didn't remember the ad either...looks like a beauty, and there should be someone out there that wants it bad.... hope you luck, beautiful Kat.... ...don't blame everyone that wants a deal, everybody wants the best price they can get(hey, a little lower $$$ and I might buy it myself)... This message has been edited by BeWare on 10-14-2005 at 03:36 PM Rich.....I purchased a perfect 2002 Prowler(2K miles) with a trailer for $34K last spring....it is the one I had painted Tangelo...for what I wanted (one to paint) it was a good deal When gas prices go back down to $1.50 gallon,,,,the cat prices will come back up, lol. No wonder that guy in georgia never called me back! I've seen a silver in Arizona that is on its 10th listing. 7000 miles and they want 36K. I have a bid at 28k on a silver in plano texas right now. it has 13 k miles and they state the reserve is 38995. i told them to let me know when they wake up. I have a bid at 28k on a silver in plano texas right now. it has 13 k miles and they state the reserve is 38995. i told them to let me know when they wake up. Good stuff,,lol. When is that? Gas prices down to $1.50. Now that is one of the best jokes posted here I have ever seen. That being said. I made a big chunk of change without waiting a long time because I bought it right. I realize I got my Prowler at a good price because the seller had bought a SSR and the wife told him the Prowler had to go. So when I see a price in the 40's I hope they get it. Just my love for the car and the art of automobiles. ------------------dp I cant get 36k for a new prowler with 1400 miles on it but a sh-- box wrecked can bring 18.500 makes no since im so tired of all the people who think they can steal the car hell why don't I just put a sign on it free..... this also goes for Eric lee latham motors always wanting something for nothing so you can flip it for 15k more spare me your b/s they don't make them anymore does this mean nothing dbickel quote:

I know of a brand new one with full factory Warranty with 66 miles that brought that price. I have seen a lot of low mileage Prowlers in $32K to $35K range. I believe there was both a Woodward Prowler and Trailer on here not that long ago for $37K. With the gas situation as it is. It's not a good time selling a car that many consider just a toy. But if your in no hurry hold out for your price. Of course JMO tangled up in BLUE quote:

A lot of sellers get friends to shill bid up the price just to make it look like there is interest in the item, but it never reaches reserve met. Happens all the time and not just in Ebay Motors.
I have seen several cars run thru eBay three or four times before they are sold. I have bought three cars (one my Prowler) and one classic boat and two were on their second listing. The boat never reached it's reserve in three tries, and I bought it off line a week later, but the price did not go down by much.ALLEY CAT I've been trying to sell a local's 2001 cat with 1700 miles for $36K. Had a firm offer of $34K in hand,,,,owner turned it down. texasprowler quote:

It had 375 miles on it and was 10 miles from my house. I did not know about POA then. I was looking on AutoTrader and Cars.com. I have seen several listed for less with low milage since I purchased mine. If I had to sell it I would loose a lot. I would not even consider trading it in. Drive it into the dealer and bend over. samthejeepman dp

sam

Pet? A Cat - a Black Cat of course!dp new ford gt40 155/160 range cant make up my mind om color i like the new blue with the racing stripe .... samthejeepman kinda figured that was what you were buying !
i wish you luck in your quest, especially at that price range.
let me know if and when you get itdp when I do ill post some pictures, I've never been able to post any pictures of my cars just cant figure it out if I could email some pictures to someone id love to let the world see some of my junkers toys DP I really agree with most all the posts but I think the gist of your post was lost.
I think the fact, that someone would pay $20.500.00 for a wrecked piece of Crap that obviously needs a she-ite load of work and money, aside from the fact that junk will always be junk no matter what you do to it boggles the mind.hoo.haaa quote:

dp <TOYS> THANK YOU .....THATS ALL IM SAYING AND IM JUST TIRED OF THE DEALERS WANTING TO STEAL THE CAR FOR NOTHING AND WANT 50K OVER MSRP FOR WHAT I WANT. SOMEBODY CAN READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND WHY BUY A SHITTER WHEN YOU CAN BUY SOMETHING NICE [CHRISTINE} bumperhill I've bought and sold cars for quite a few years now. I once had a Cobra Kit that I bought for 12.5k that had never been titled and had less than 300 miles on it. I sold it a month later for 22.5k. When I had it listed I received a call from a guy in Dallas who accused me of hurting everyone else who was trying to sell a Cobra. (Low price.) I made 10k in 30 day's.
BUT I bought my Prowler for an investment that I can drive every once and a while. (As I do.) I sold a 34 Ford roadster to get the Prowler because the Ford sat in the garage for two years. What a waste.
I see people asking high prices for their Prowlers and I see people asking for average prices.
If you like the car or not, the fact remains that less than 12k were produced over the life of production. That in itself makes it collectable. Plus this is one of the most unique American production cars ever made.
I plan on holding on to mine for a long, long time and admire it's beauty and all the looks and complements it brings.
There will come a day when I'm over the hill and unable to enjoy it and it'll have to go. By that time the value should rival the early model Mopars. Supply and demand dictate that.
