GUB	I notice a lot of Prowlers with very low milage on their cars. I on the other hand love to drive mine and the miles keep going up! So, do you think owning a Prowler and hardly ever drive it is worth more to you so you can say it has low milage than those who have lots of fun and smiles often? Is it about money or the fun of owning this great car that you have to deceide if you should take it for a ride? I think FUN should rule!
pumpkin	Pumpkin is a low mileage kat. The big reason is not that I don't like driving it but I have other cars that get the same high fives.So when we go cruising we have a choice of what we can have fun in. We pamper all our cars and give them there fair chance of attention.
tangled up in BLUE	...they are most fun when driven.....luckily, I have more than one so I can drive one all the time and still have a couple in reserve... I put 30K miles on this one in 18 months.....the 18 months included 2 winters in Indiana.....most fun I ever had with a Kat.....drove it everywhere, it was all over the eastern half of the nation....donuts in the snow and ice...wheels and paint showed some wear, but the rest of the car performed just like any other rear wheel drive car in the winter...it was rarely garaged during the time I owned it... "If I wanted a Prowler to just look at...I would have bought a picture of one" I probably screwed up your saying Ed but I believe I got the gist of it. ALLEY CAT	Having one of each [2 Prowlers] has it's rewards. One with 35,000 miles,,and one that just turned 10,000 miles after a 5,000 mile vacation.

quincy	I hope to live long enough to put 100k on the odo! I have managed 1,400 miles this year, and am up to the 4,500 total mark!
JCProwler	Drive like you stole it! The only problem I have is with my self. I hate getting road nicks but that's life. The only way your car is going to stay prefect is in a museum.
InTheRed	I've put about 4000 miles on my Prowler in the last four months. I bought the car with 11,000 miles on it and it has almost 15,000 on it now. Obviously I've driven it a lot because its new to me.. I plan on continuing to drive it on a regular basis. I refuse to own a car that I'm afraid to put miles on. I will never sell the car so I might as well enjoy it. On one hand I hope Prowlers resell value stays high because that means I spent the money wisely.. on the other hand I hope the resell value goes to hell so I can buy one in every color. I think all Prowler owners should have 2-3 of them. That just makes them that much less common. They made about 11k of them right? If we all had a few in the garage there would only be a few thousand owners world wide. Doesn't everyone feel that way? I know many of you already have several Prowlers.

BeWare	Since the likelhood is we will never be able to afford another Prowler, we put about 5500 miles a year on ours. Its been driven in the rain too many times to count. Its been in two hail storms (made to safety with no damage). The car with exception of the very bottom is cleaner than the day I picked it up new and still looks new. We did have to have a complete repaint(long story previously posted) So its no garage queen but its is pampered.
Richard Jackson	Drive it as much as you want and I can tell you that they don't melt in the rain. Notice all of the 97 and 99 prowlers for sale here and on E-bay that have sat in peoples garages with 67 miles, 988 miles, etc. They are now selling them for much less than they purchased them for and never drove them! What fun is that.
Chiefload	Don't worry about the mileage, enjoy the Kat, why own one if you are not going to enjoy it.

SILVRKAT	I don't know if this has much to do with the problems that pop up with Prowlers (most are minor) but my 2000 has 38,000 miles and I have not had and do not have near the problems that many of the low mileage garage queens seem to have. Yes every time I drive it, it seems like I get another scratch, or bump or birdsh*t on the top,(last week it was paint specks from fresh lane paint). I did not buy the Prowler as an investment, I have never made a dime on any car I have ever owned, so I enjoy driving it and racking up the smiles! If I do sell it , I'm sure I will loose lots of money because the Prowlers that sell well are the garage queens that have low miles and mint perfect bodies, mine does not!
CJ	Mine were anniversary gifts..........I always said that if I was lucky enough to have one, it would be driven. I drive it as much as possible during the driving season in Michigan. My Black Cat has 13,800 on it and the Candy has 25,700+ on it. I couldn't stand seeing them in the garage and NOT driving them. This message has been edited by CJ on 09-13-2005 at 12:02 AM
