I live in the Plano area and have driven my Prowler for six years and 30K miles without a front plate. I have never been pulled over for the missing plate. I wouldn't worry too much about it! Except for the Arlington cop who pulled me over because didn't have a front license plate. (Still don't, and won't.)
Hope to meet some of y'all soon.
RickSuperDave Welcome aboard, Rick! The fun of the Prowler never stops, you just get used to it... ALLEY CAT Rick - WELCOME TO THE POA!!!
Y2K Silver Millennium Edition and '01 Orange Rolex EditionBeWare Welcome to the pOA. I was only in Austin TX a few days before I got pulled over for not having a front plate on my Durango tow vehicle and also an obscurred rear plate. The cop was coming the other way and when he saw I did not have a front plate he did a U Turn. In GA we don't have a front plate. IM IN XTC I got pulled over in Denver and said "very nicely" where do you think I could put the plate? and reached back behind the passenger seat into the pocket and said that I have it but there isn't anywhere to put it... he said that I was right and said he was going to look into the law on that subject...LoL B.S. baffles Brains cnote6 welcome, Hope to see you soon. TFischer Welcome to the DFW group!!! Ken and I stopped into the PD here in town to speak with a friend of ours and he walked out to look at the Prowler. I asked him "You going to give me a ticket for no front plate?" and his response was "Where you going to put one?" I've never been stopped for not having one and drove mine to work for several months last year. Hopefully that was your one and only time for that. Have a great time with the Woodward!!
