BradleyGI won Black Tie # 96 on E-Bay and would really appreciate it if someone can look at it before I release funds. I believe it is all that they say, but will feel much better if one of you can at least check it out before I fly to Denver and drive it back to Dallas.

I had Bob Haisler from Miller Motors (The Warranty Guy)check the history with DC, and the ball joint recall was done last October. With only 2400 miles on it, there can't be too much which could have gone wrong since it was put into service in March 2001. The VIN number 1P3EW65G71V700504 checks out with a clean history. It was traded in on a Honda Gold Wing at Tri Citi Cycles. (I don't think I could ever understand that trade). I'm pretty excited about getting another Prowler. SO, if anyone can help me, I will appreciate it very much. PM me, or cell: 214-557-1084. Thanks, Brad Grubbs

IM IN XTCI can see if there is anyone here in Denver who is close enough to go and take a look
IM IN XTCI HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM A 7 HOUR ROAD TRIP IN MY KAT FROM TELLURIDE SO THE THOUGHT OF GOING BACK THAT WAY RIGHT NOW MAKES ME FEEL UUUUUGH
ed monahanBrad, if it was Loveland, OH I could help out. Glad to see you got another cat. It will hard to top your silver one, but I am sure you will put forth the effort.
cmblockhusGood luck Brad

I hope its a keeper for you

your friend
curtis

BradleyGThank you for the offers to help. Dennis Acott is close to where the Prowler is being stored and has very graciously offered to take a look at it for me. Thank you Dennis !!!

Russell and Cathy, Thank you for offering to help.

Ed, I should have bought one in Ohio just so I could meet you. I will do my best to dress it up like my broken silver. Already have bumper covers, hard top and spoiler. Now, just a little paint, a few more parts and a lot of $$$, and I'm done.

Grandpa Curtis, I am sure it is a keeper, but it is not nearly as exciting as your new addition. Congratulations !!

Mike & Judy, Thank you for this great web site.

Thanks again to everybody, Brad

IM IN XTCBrad i am glad that some one in Colorado can help ... good luck with this one. Denver Kat club is doing a run on Sunday maybe we can meet with you ...
BradleyGrussell and cathy, Dennis Acott (2000 Yellow)is in Ft. Collins, which is where the Prowler is stored at the Tri Citi Cycles owners home. He said too many people were drooling all over it and wants to keep it clean for me. Wish I could meet up with your group on Sunday, but I am spending the weekend with my daughter in Indiana and will arrive in Denver Monday afternoon (08-01-05) about 3:30. It will probably be after 6:00pm by the time I get the mud flaps installed and on the way back to Dallas. I need to make it home by Tuesday evening so I can make it to the salt mines for work on Wednesday morning. It's going to be a long, but exciting trip. I'll keep your number handy in case I get lost or something. Thanks again for all the help. Brad

ChromerBradley,

I would have been glad to look at the car for you too..(Collins is just 40 miles North of Denver). It's great Dennis can check out the car for you.

Drive careful on the way home.

PharmKatWelcome to the small group of proud Black Tie owners. Everyone I've run into so far loves the color combo. Next time I'm in Dallas I'll PM you.
Scott
BradleyGI just got a call from Dennis Acott while he was standing there looking at my new Black Tie. It is everything they said it was. I am more anxious than ever. This is even better than when I went to get my first Prowler. I had never even sit in one before I bought it. Now, I know what I have been missing for the last month. Can hardly wait.

Can we have a moment of silence in respect for my dead Kat. Tonight at 10:20 is exactly one month that he gave his life for mine. I miss him, but have found out that you can replace just about everything you have EXCEPT for your Mamma and Daddy. ....... I just stopped and called them to express my love, they are both 80 years old. Man, I'm blessed. So, Go hug your Prowler and let it know you love it. I'll post pictures next week.
Scott, I look forward to meeting you.
Dennis, Thank you again for your help.

SuperDaveIt's great to know that you are getting another Prowler so soon, Brad. I'm really sorry about your other one, but it is good to know that you will still make it to local events in your new one.

Welcome, um, back?

Dave

Rpowell593Brad, great news. Congradulations, and we look forward to plenty of pics to make sure that your new kat is as sharp as the old one. PS - I bought mine from Colorado via Ebay, and there is still not a single mark on the car - so I think you're in good company.
keesBrad,

I looked at this Black Tie on E-bay dozens of times but was
thinking twice before going to another import and registration
process to Europe. But I have to say a great buy on a
spectacular colour combination.

Make sure you keep this one in one piece, with the limited
edition it would be a shame if it would disappear.

Prowl on.......................

TFischerBrad: That's fantastic!! So glad you found one and are getting back into one so soon. Be very careful bringing her home and have a great trip!! Tami and Ken
BeWareBRAD glad you found another Cat so soon and a Black Tie to boot. Way to go.
Marty UsherWay to go Brad. Enjoy your new Black Tie.
BradleyGThanks for the congratulation messages. The only reason I can wait until Monday to get it is because I flew up to Indiana to see my daughter for the weekend. Now, I can hardly wait until Monday 3:30 when I arrive in Denver.
It's amazing how much more careful I am after the near death experience with a speeding pickup. Not to worry Tami & Ken, I am VERY careful. We need to meet again. There is a mini Mopar show in early September in Garland which I plan on attending.

Now, I'm looking for mods. I need gears, Engine panels, trailer hitch, another rear pan of some type, grill, and a new paint job for the hardtop along with patching the bruises on the spoiler (A good friend that did the custom paint on my PT Cruiser can fix the paint for me. He is very good if anyone in Dallas needs paint. Does lots of custom paint with flames as his speciality. Nick Mackaly). I was able to keep the TGF bumper covers. It will be pretty much like my other one, except a BLACK TIE and the rear wheel is still attached.

keesBrad,

I do have a small question/request. Sent you a PM.

best regards,

Kees

Randy CobbBrad:

Glad you found another so soon and in such good condition.

Get us some pixs of the new ride.

Dennis AcottDid you pick it up OK? I sent PM.
BradleyGI am home safe and sound. 928 miles of smiling and waving from Denver to Dallas. The car is almost perfect (I get a little shimmy in the steering wheel at 135 MPH.... Just kidding). A couple of small warranty items as soon as I get my paperwork from DC for the extended warranty I bought from Bob Haisler at Miller Motors.
I wish I could have kept the wrecked Prowler, but $13,000.00 was more than I could afford to have tied up. I'm sure that one of these days, I will regret that decision. Thanks again to everyone. Especially Dennis Acott for your time. We need to find him a rear bumper.
I'll post pictures tonight. It is totally stock, right down to the still wrapped CD's.
