hitmusAfter a good "hot" up-hill run...
and having parked my Prowler...
I notice water dripping underneath from the cross-member behind the oil pan!
It's not antifreeze as it dries up on the floor.
I've tasted it and it's like water with no smell.
It doesn't happen with every drive!
Do you think it's a problem from the A/C line or hoses?
I've never used the A/C yet, and it is turned off!
I'm really stumped..... any advice?
Bama Katdo you have a small dog that lives nearby

Condensation dripping out of the evaporater pan. Not to worry. JMO
Prowl 36Since your tasting it , It's probably battery acid, and you just think you see water dripping on the floor.

Have you had the defroster running? That kicks in the compressor. Speaking of compressor, you should run that thing to keep your compressor seals from drying out and leaking.

Ed W.My vote is the defroster.
Regardless of the outside temperature, the compressor will cycle on & off during the usesage of a defroster.

This occurs is all factory air conditioning systems regardless of make.

hitmusTo Prowl 36....
Yea!...I should have known it's from the A/C... when you get a new toy, you get spooked very easily!
Thanks for the advice....I'll try and stay away from the battery acid I personally prefer good Whiskey!
Prowl 36OH you better believe we have all

hit ourself in the head with a hammer even if it was just plain stupididity or the wiskey bottle. I haven't figured out which one is worse.

V-RodI know this is an old thread but I found it from a search as mine did this today.

really hot day but no aircon as hood was down. Put it in the garage and saw the trail of water.

There is a hose that comes out the bulkhead, water drips down onto the cross member.

I never know the cooler would cycle with the air con turned off. Pleased as I was worried it might be a coolant leak.

padrooI'll start, what color is it?
garysssLike it is posted above. Did you have it set on defrost from last drive maybe? Comp. comes on in defost mode.
GortOverflow from windshield wiper fluid, since it came from going uphill. Just a guess.

Update - found it selected to 'screen', hence air con had been on.
