Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should go to get the transfer cheaper? toys I beleive It is also a one time transfer from the original owner to the second owner. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should go to get the transfer cheaper? I would just try another dealer and then DC to log a complaint. Maybe go to DC first. If possible I wouldn't give the first dealer any service business. Transfer Fees California $50.00 Maybe other states have different transfer fees.redman How much does it cost to transfer an extended warranty? The dealership is wanting 150 for it. toys I believe it should only $50.00 thats what i paid on 2000 prowler mysticspot I have never seen a chrysler warranty transfer over $100 unless the dealer is tacking on $50 for their "trouble". Most of the warranty transfers are $50 or $100. Make sure that it is a chrysler extended warranty. Alot of chrysler dealers sell some off brand contracts, and the customer assumes that it is a chrysler brand.

redman, read your policy. It should state it's a $50.00 charge. When I transferred mine I went to a DC dealer and asked them to change it and they told me they couldn't. When I asked why they said we don't carry that one. I mentioned it was a DC warranty and after much hassle it was finally changed. I don't know why they make this such a production.toys quote:

There was a separate page for the transfer. That's what I had to pay at a 5 star dealer. Pretty cut and dry. That was last month. Its was re issued buy Chrysler/Daimler in my name and returned with a new policy and card. Everything on it says Chrysler/Daimler so I believe its from them and no one else?????????? Howard I just read my Chrysler Maximum Care Plan Provisions
(State Of California)
(Applies to the state where the Plan was purchased)redman I just got off the phone with chrysler. it appears that the cost depends on when the extended warranty was purchased. they confirmed with me that mine should be 50, but newer ones are 150.
