Andy R	Hi everyone! We are having party on Saturday May 21st at our house with our car friends. 3pm until whenever. Hopefully the weather will be great that day, we could do some cruising too if anyone would like. If for some reason it wants to rain that day we will still have the party to visit with everyone, but it will just be indoors. Everyone bring a little side dish or dessert to share. We will be grilling Metts, Bratts, & Hamburgers, and drinks will be provided. By the way, we have driveway parking for at least 10-15 cars (15 if we cover sidewalks). We hope to see you there! Scot Stern	Well Boyz....... It is time for some serious disclosure. At 117 years of age, most people don't seem to care where someone is from. They care more about where they are going to! In any case, a little known fact is that I am from Cincinnati and used to live in a hamlet called Amberly Village (prior to the tract houses and the the sidewalks). Hearing about them vittles makes my innards start to twitch as I remember oh so well both Skyline and Empress. If someone is bringing Graders (sp) for desert I might just have to fire up the racing machine and head on out to Cin City. One the serious side of things, I find it interesting that there is such a large contingency of Prowler owners in the Cincinnati area as I also own a Delorean and they too have a large representation in the City of Cin. I gotta run as I am headed down to the beach to participate in the suffers triathlon and chase the young fresh stuffs. They sorta count on me to provide them with the encouragement to contniue to particpate in body building events as they see my supple and fit body. Dew Drop gave me a four hour hall pass and I gotta take advantage of the opportunity. Afterwards, I'm a gonna eat a Hungry Man TV dinner and watch the re-runs of the Lone Ranger. I just love that Tonto and Silver. Good luck with your shin dig in Cincinanti and, if you get some extra vittles, pack them up and send them to the Old Man in California. jkburns	Andy: It's very nice of you to issue such an open invitation - reflective of the GREAT people on this site. I must comment, however, on your "marketing" approach to this year's event. As a communications executive, I spend much of my time trying to lure people TO events. The photo in the bottom right contains an image that - to some - may actually DETER them from attending. Discretion prevents me from mentioning any names. But take a close look. Who is that guy, and what is he doing at your house? Granted, I have never met this unnamed gentleman, but if legend is true, well, let's just say I won't be coming this year. In short, that you for your hospitality and your generosity. And, in closing, let me say that I'm found dead in an alley some time during the Dells event, I know if a certain Cincinatti resident who may be the prime suspect!!! (P.S. Just pulling your chain, Ed. Looking forward to a GREAT time in the Dells!) Kevin
ed monahan	Kevin, don't worry, they will never FIND your body. lol Scot, Amberly has changed a lot. The old Rollman estate now has about 50 homes on it. The country club is closed and overgrown. They are currently fighting over keeping it a greenspace or subdividing for homes/condos. (The golf course on Ridge near Galbraith Rd). It went from a nice course to nothing but weeds in less than a year. Metts are spicy hot dogs, that are much fatter. They come in several varieties, hot, mild, cheddar wurst, etc. Brats are pronounced brots and have white meat in them. Best served with mustard and horseradish. Big at all of the summer festivals. Cincinnati had a lot of German, hence the metts, brats and breweries. One neighborhood was called Over the Rhine since all the Germans lived in the area and you had to cross a canal to get to it. That was well over a hundread years ago.
Scot Stern	I remember the Rhine! I was only about 17 years old a hundred years ago but...... I used to live at 2590 Section Road which is near Fair Oaks Drive I think. That is in the older part of the area. The Country Club, I believe was called Crest Hills and I actually belonged to it. It moved from Reading Road near Swifton Village, a Shopping Center, to Amberely Village in about 1970. Henry Rollman Jr. was a year or two younger than me and went to school with me. I remember the Estate and those were some nice homes. I also remember Rollman's Department Store before it was sold. It too was in Swifton Village Shopping Center across the street from Crest Hills Country Club and Woodward High School on Reading Road. You see, I really am from the area. Thanks for the update. ed monahan	Scot, Swiftion S. C. is still there physically but there are no stores left there except for maybe a wig store and a check cashing business. They are totally changing Woodward. You would not believe what you see at that corner, now.
ed monahan	Kevin, Andy has come up with a great system. He does not divulge his address and he moves every six months, keeping the riff-raff away. (I can't use Prowler trash since A/C has it copyrighted and I would have to pay that darn fee). Sometimes he posts the invite AFTER the party, too, just in case.

ed monahan	Butchcee, thanks for clearing that up. Actually we have Kielbasa, too. It is very similar just diff. spices, I think. We have liverwurst, too. This place is the wurst, lol. Like I said, a lot of German immigrants and still some pretty good German restaurants.

quincy	My wife and I really miss Cinci. We lived there for 8 years when I worked for Ford. First at Sharonville then at Batavia. I lived just north of the 20 mile stand, which was literally the last stage coach stop for the evening on Montgomery road before your next morning carriage ride to the city. The area was Dearfield township, a very nice area. Is the 'Ribs King' further south on Montgomery road still in business? I went through years of withdraw without any Skyline, Mike Sells, and Little Kings cream ale up here in Detroit.

ed monahan	Quincy, Montgomery Inn now has 3 or 4 restaurants, including the original in Montgomery. The founder, Ted Gregory died about 2 years ago but the place is going strong. Bob Hope used to get their ribs shipped to him in Cal. all the time. They have a restaurant on the Ohio river call the Boathouse that is always packed. You would not believe how much Deerfield Township has grown. The Fields-Ertel exit is always backed up.
CJ	Quincy........we lived in Montgomery for four years....on Elbrecht Avenue off Deerfield. Not too far from Montgomery Inn. Liked it a lot, but never could tolerate the Skyline. My daughter-in-law is from Blue Ash.
