I'm not trying to re-open the thread you guys closed. Just wanted to tell you happened at some other forum sites. I hang out at a couple of different guitar sites. One of them had an official agreement with a particular guitar manufacturer, and used their trademarked logos, model names, etc on the forum site. Eventually, the manufacturer started dictating certain rules about the site content. Licensed dealers were prohibited from listing guitar stock on the forum... threads with pricing information posted publicly were frowned upon.. I'm not exactly sure what all happened after that, but the volunteers who ran the forum finally decided to desolve the relationship. Most of the members assumed the manufacter was trying to police a little too much of the site content. The web site re-emerged as two different new sites, neither affiliated in any way with any particular manufactuer, so no one except the site owner and appointed volunteer site administrators makes rules on content. I'd be happy to put you in touch with the site owner if you would like to talk to him about his experience. And thanks for everything that you do so that the rest of us can enjoy the POA site. Mikejmcant1 Mike and Judy, JKrehel Thanks!
