PanteraLook at page 17 of the Prowler Anatomy book. In the drawing of the driver seat, there are words. From what I can tell it says "leatherette, warm leatherette, hear the car crash, noise cracked windshield"

Anyone have any insight into this? I hope this isn't only in my book, or else you will all think I am crazy....

RayAnd if you play the Beatles albums in reverse while reading that book backwards .... well, you better really watch out for strange messages!
CJYes, and if you look to the left of the steering wheel, there is something else written. The only two words I can make our is "I ever".

The artist obviously had a sense of humor, too!

ken736ccThat is a line from the song "Warm leatherette". I believe the band name was Leather Strip. It was an 80's punk or goth style song. Could you please post a picture?

See the breaking glass
In the underpass
See the breaking glass
In the underpass
Warm leatherette

Hear the crushing steel
Feel the steering wheel
Hear the crushing steel
Feel the steering wheel

Warm leatherette

Warm leatherette

Warm leatherette
Melts on your burning flesh
You can see your reflection
In the luminescent dash

Warm leatherette

A tear of petrol
Is in your eye
The hand brake
Penetrates your thigh
Quick -- Let's make love
Before you die

On warm leatherette
Warm leatherette

Warm leatherette
Warm leatherette
Warm leatherette

Join the car crash set

PanteraThe song was by The Normal. Grace Jones later did a cover of it.
