This message has been edited by Kroooozer on 01-27-2005 at 09:16 PM Regards, Howard Its actually common to ship that way for costs....there are actually 4 cars in that container...a Chev behind mine (not sure what model) and a Mustang above it. They are usually hoisted up with chain blocks or similar and secured from anchoring points on the container roof and blocked out with timber below. Also all 4 wheels of the bottom car are blocked in with 4 x 2's about 3 high....I know they are secure as I have helped him trying to get them out.....there was a car that came in once that had broken free and smashed into another and then came back into its original spot.....container may have been dropped or tipped at some point. ENJOY THE RIDEKroooozer Just thought I'd post a pic of the Prowler loaded into the container....was a bit worrying when I was given these pictures showing a top fuel dragster sitting above on 4 x 2's and web strapping....fortunately there is no engine in it and I hope that nothing drips on it ....like brake fluid...lets just hope that it looks the same as it does now when we open the doors. Howard Nice looking car. I just got my Prowler several weeks ago. If that car is Orange you will absolutely love the color. it grows on you, and most people love it. Kroooozer Thanks....its actually Candy...when it arrives it will go interstate for right hand conversion....so I won't see it for a few months....good timing though as we will be in the US for 5 weeks of that time. TooHipCat Good Luck with it. I hope it arrives safe. Kind of an odd way to ship it but I imagine the Cat couldn't be shipped by itself in a container.
Please post plenty of pics when you get it home. The Candys are beautiful!!!

BrianKroooozer Well last weekend it was driven 14 hrs north to Queensland for right hand conversion...what a buzz driving it there....I think I had around 10 people taking digital picks from there cars from cameras and cell phones....I stayed overnight in Brisbane (about 2 hrs sth of final destination) at a friends place and his wife took it for a drive and came back and said (hope I don't offend anyone)....."If I was a guy I would have a woody now" (not in those actual words though).... ALLEY CAT Krooozer - Yup,,that is what its like,,,lots of camera shots, ,,and several 'woodies'!!!
