they were approx $600 per set....he just made another run of these a few weeks ago and had a couple of sets left to sell.....high quality stuff Though there are several terms out there that are used for more than one product, so it's very likely that "spinners" mean different things to different folks. -Dan This is a nockoff wheel... http://www.streetdreams.org/wheel_brands/Mega%20Spinners.php tangled up in BLUE OOOPs, my bad.....in my day, knock offs and spinners were sorta considered the same things.....I am familiar with the new spinner wheels, just didn't come to mind....sorry ed monahan I thought a knock off was a cheap knock off of a brand name item!!!
I agree with Tangled Larry, interchangeable back in the day.Jim C This is a spinner...
ed monahan If Jim C is correct, spinners were not in existence until about 5 years ago. I guess we were all wrong in the 50's and 60s rmatzko Does anyone know whether or not any sets are still available? Sorry I haven't been paying attention to the Prowler site, but we here in Punta Gorda, Florida have other things on our minds. By the way, when I was growing up, the "in" hubcap was an Oldsmobile Fiesta spinner. If I remember correctly, they were from the 1957 Olds. toys quote:
