These cars are made to drive and not to be "saved". I'm ALWAYS amazed with the drum beat of keeping 'em dry and the miles off. For those who do, I'll bet wifey's new boy freind will appreciate it when you're dead and gone. Me?..I'm drivin' mine toomikee Well I enjoy driving the Kat so much that I sold my everyday driver and made the Kat my every day driver. Usually when it rains I take the wife's SUV. Last night I took the Kat to a party we were invited to. Coming out of the party it was pouring. Yes, it does occasionally rain in sunny So. California. This morning when I awoke and looked at the Kat I was very surprised to find that it did NOT melt or get ruined in any way. It did not look bad at all. Must be the aerodynamics. Cleaned it up in about 30 min. and am ready to go.
Moral of the story. Don't miss the fun of driving your Kat just because it may get wet. It really won't hurt it.Marty Usher I agree with you. The pleasures derived from driving the kat all the time more than make up for the time spent cleaning it. halicat i drive mine about 100 mile everyday back and forth to work. (untill nov when the snow falls....) rain or shine... Chromer quote:
