| obi-wan | I have solved to problem of a PROPERLY CHROMED GRILLE. I now have one on my own car and in the coming weeks I will have them available. I have had 2 of them done and both are extremely well done. I will be doing the prep. of each grille. This takes a bunch of time even with the aid of really good tooling. There's still a lot of hand work on each one. Then, it's off to a really proper chrome shop(no I won't tell you who that is !). It's hard to take a proper picture of the grille to really show just how good it really is. I'll see if Dan Pena can do that and post on his sight today when I see him. I don't have a bottom line price yet but for those of you that want on of these just let me know and I'll put you on the preferred list when I do have the price figured out. Probably 1000.oo or more( that's a guess)and I will need your old grille in return. I hope I've teased some of you !! Obi-Wan |
| dpena | I second that notion... I've seen his grill twice and it is on the edge of wetness as obi-wan puts it. I think its already wet. Good job Obi-Wan... Later... ------------------

Looks just great on my silver baby!! It can be done by Obi-Wan along with the tack and everything you see on my car. Obi-Wan has done it all. The grilles are absolutely Supercalifrgilisticexpialidocious!!!!!!!!

This grille is not Obi Wans, but I posted a pic to show off a grille I believe is close to perfect, Obi if you come close to this quality, it is sanded and polished even underneath, it looks beautiful on our Kats!

| Norb Schroll | FYI - Scotty and Linda's grills were plated by one of my chrome vendors. If you remember I did a grill several months back and shipped it to Woodward this year for Larry Mayes. Scotty and I have been talking for the last several months and I have referred him to our chrome vendor who has agreed to do the grills for Scotty. Good luck Scotty and I'm glad we could please you and Linda with your grills. ------------------

| WildCat | I have taken soo many pictures of my chrome grills, I have had 3 in my car. I cannot get a good quality picture of it. The ones posted look good, but you really have to see a chrome grill in the cra and IN PERSON to appreciate the quality of it. All 3 of my grills looked good in the car. Each one was from a different vendor. I think the 2nd one I had done was the heaviest of the 3. The 2nd & 3rd grill are very close in quality but the 2nd was from Advanced and they said NO MORE PROWLER GRILLS, then the deal with Norb fell thru. If you want to see the chrome grill and how great they look in the car you will have to attend an event. At any larger event there should be just about one of every grill made since not all of us have left our cars stock like Ed Monahan. |
