So,, Supercharger And it passed California Smog no problem. I'm a happy guy. I sweat it every time I have to get smogged, and mine's bone stock...the last time, it took 2 shops before I found one that even had the baseline specs in their manual to do the set-up!!! I'm sweating getting my emission test coming up in January. ------------------ Best regards, Kees ------------------ Think we could get the Alleycat seal of approval on that? It's a good thing you don't have to have those on all the time. jd2ksilver Maybe you knew this already, but I was sweating it.
Headers
100 octane fuelpurplecat Glad to hear that it passed. Dead End Don Congrats!!!!!!!!!! Marty Usher Cool- one less thing for you to worry about! FL Phil Glad to hear that. I had to get a smog certificate earlier this year for the Purple and didn't have any problems either. Chromer Congratulations JD! Bob Hacker Congrats JD I knew you could do it.
Bobkees Mine has just passed the sound and emission controls on
it's way to certification in The Netherlands. This seems
to be the hardest of all they say and apparently it barely
made it. Remainders of tests will be done in the upcoming
2 weeks.Marc-Colo-99 Glad to see you passed. Mine passed a couple weeks ago as well. Had to put the cats back on because in Colorado they do a visual inspection as well as emissions. FYI without the cats it still passes the tailpipe emissions just not he the visual. ed monahan Marc, when they make the headers without the cats, why don't they just put fake cats on the pipe to make it look good. They you would not have to switch them out every year (or two). I don't have to go to emissions since it is a collector plate. GenoTex They dont do emissions test in Wisconsin....hmmm...
I wonder if that's cuz of the heavy cow population?!?!?

That might be pretty easy to do, make them so you could just bolt them on for the test. Actually it takes less than an hour to change to the Y pipe with cats, and man does it make the exhaust quieter. Yuuuuck!Marty Usher quote:

Marc- just think how much power the cats take away - airflow=power!!!Marc-Colo-99 Marty, aint it the truth? I only drove it from the house to the emissions station and thought I had the brake on the whole time. Glad that's done for the next 2 years. GenoTex airflow=power!!!
Marty...we gotta talk !Joe Ruggiero Emissions test? What's that (I love Florida) LOL CJ Good thing, John. Marty Usher quote:
