jd2ksilverMaybe you knew this already, but I was sweating it.

So,,

Supercharger
Headers
100 octane fuel

And it passed California Smog no problem.

I'm a happy guy.

purplecatGlad to hear that it passed.
Dead End DonCongrats!!!!!!!!!!

I sweat it every time I have to get smogged, and mine's bone stock...the last time, it took 2 shops before I found one that even had the baseline specs in their manual to do the set-up!!!

Marty UsherCool- one less thing for you to worry about!
FL PhilGlad to hear that. I had to get a smog certificate earlier this year for the Purple and didn't have any problems either.
ChromerCongratulations JD!

I'm sweating getting my emission test coming up in January.

------------------

Bob HackerCongrats JD I knew you could do it.
Bob
keesMine has just passed the sound and emission controls on
it's way to certification in The Netherlands. This seems
to be the hardest of all they say and apparently it barely
made it. Remainders of tests will be done in the upcoming
2 weeks.

Best regards,

Kees

Marc-Colo-99Glad to see you passed. Mine passed a couple weeks ago as well. Had to put the cats back on because in Colorado they do a visual inspection as well as emissions. FYI without the cats it still passes the tailpipe emissions just not he the visual.

------------------

ed monahanMarc, when they make the headers without the cats, why don't they just put fake cats on the pipe to make it look good. They you would not have to switch them out every year (or two). I don't have to go to emissions since it is a collector plate.
GenoTexThey dont do emissions test in Wisconsin....hmmm...

I wonder if that's cuz of the heavy cow population?!?!?

DairyAir?

Think we could get the Alleycat seal of approval on that?
That might be pretty easy to do, make them so you could just bolt them on for the test. Actually it takes less than an hour to change to the Y pipe with cats, and man does it make the exhaust quieter. Yuuuuck!

Marc- just think how much power the cats take away - airflow=power!!!

Marc-Colo-99Marty, aint it the truth? I only drove it from the house to the emissions station and thought I had the brake on the whole time. Glad that's done for the next 2 years.
GenoTexairflow=power!!!

Marty...we gotta talk !

Joe RuggieroEmissions test? What's that (I love Florida) LOL
CJGood thing, John.

It's a good thing you don't have to have those on all the time.
