Cape Breton island in nova scotia is the most beautiful of the province... if you search "keltic lodge in nova scotia" it should bring up the website. it is about 5 hours drive from halifax. my sweetheart and i are leaving saturday for a tour of the cabot trail. August is the warmest month but when the leaves turn in the fall... it is breathtaking... next summer we are planning to go to newfoundland... 02 GoldGene Looks like a nice car but I have a question and this does not just apply to this car,why does there appear to be a lot of space between rear tire and fender like rear is jacked up?Mine does not have this space but I've seen some like this.Anyone know why. ed monahan Jim, nice pics.

Love the background....peaceful,serene...gotta visit sometime!halicat thanks doctor. ed monahan Jim, how much does it cost to come over on the ferry now? The one from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth?
We were there in early July in 99 and about froze to death. lol. High in the low 50s. Simply spectacular scenery and well worth the trip.halicat hi ed , ed monahan We drove last time. We were on a motorcycle and it was 4500 mile trip, I think. The jet boat in St. John's was a total blast. When we did the Cabot trail it rained the entire trip. We stayed in a bed and breakfast on the east coast for a few nights and then stayed just outside Peggy's Cove in another B&B for a couple of nights. Spectacular. halicat sorry to hear about the rain.. but when its nice its really nice...did ya get a good feed of lobster ? CJ Congrats!! The fun begins! ed monahan Actually we did not get fed all that great, except in Peggy's Cove and breakfast the first morning on the west side. I can't remember all of the meals, naturally. It was still a great trip, one we would definitely like to repeat in the near future.
