Radcat......I saw a gold Kat in Tenn last year with a hardtop.....might have been yours.....It was the most talked about car among my friends.......totally transformed the gold Kat......looks great..... This message has been edited by tangled up in BLUE on 08-30-2004 at 06:59 AM ------------------ We just got the HT a couple of weeks ago and only had it on maybe twice - took some really nice pictures yesterday of both our cats at the same location - might post some later tonight ! Thanks again guys - it's always nice to get some 'feedback' (good OR bad !!) This message has been edited by Nasty Cat on 08-30-2004 at 04:16 PM ------------------ DQman - now THAT is a sharp looking cat !! Awesome !! Might make a nice one off mod. Have to think about it... ------------------ More 'Pumpkin' photos . . . . . This message has been edited by pumpkin on 09-02-2004 at 05:58 PM Ronald Heintschel Hello to all
Thinking of buying a hard top for my prowler.
Need some info from those of you that have one.
Do you like it, is it a pain to remove and put on.
If you bought another prowler would you also buy a hard top for it.
Is it quieter with the top on .
Thanks
Ronwarmncool I really like my hard top and would recommend it..It does take 2 people to put it on and take it off and you can not get into the "what trunk" with it on, but that is the only downside IMO...It is much quieter with it on and it really changes the look of my cat... c.mangeng I have one for each car and I love them. More head room than the soft top and no leaks if it rains hard. Not loosing much, since you can't get into the trunk when its on. Mine are daily drivers and I put them on in the late fall and take them off in the spring, during the summer I go topless. Metalcrafters produces the top, talk to Norb, excellent quality top and a very upstanding guy. Craig. RADCAT RICH as said on the other 2 posts, the dramatic change in the appearance of the cat is UNBELIEVEABLE !!!
>increased headroom, little decrease in rear window , and increased blind spot , lower noise level,COOLER LOOK,
GO FOR IT!!!Steve Conley Ron In answer to your question. Yes, Yes, Yes & Yes. Having a trailer is a must for trips. CJ I have one for my Candy cat and I like it more than I thought I would! It gives the car a whole different look. It has a bit more headroom......not that I need it...it does cut down on the road noise. I have to have help removing it, but it's now big deal. The only down-side for me is that I can't put the top down at a moment's notice! I have taken it off at an event and stored it. Ed books a room with two beds so he has a place to put his! Fortunately, I'm lucky enough to have two cats, so if I want to drive a convertible, I just jump in the Black cat! prowling alaska Hi , Just came across the photo of your GOLD CAT w/ top HOLY SMOKES , NICE !! Just starting to learn and appreciate why I wanted one of these since I 1st saw one in 96 .I do have a long way to go on my wrecked cat .Getting together w/ an aluminum welding buddy tomorrow .
Bruce , ALASKAtangled up in BLUE Ron.....I was in Maumee a few months ago looking at a car....wish I had realized there was a POA member there, would have checked in with you.... RADCAT RICH tangled, thanks! i love it.
> wasn't me though in Tenn.DR PROWLER The hardtop is definitely on my must have list.....adds so much to the looks of the car! DUSTI All of the above - nothing more to add but a few pictures tangled up in BLUE DUSTIS......looks sharp......like the side panels and the pinstripes also.... weswman DUSTIS, LOOKS AWESOME! DUSTI Thanks guys for the compliments ! Nasty Cat That looks great Dusti Top Kat I really like the look of the Hardtop. Mine stays on most of the time. More head room, Stereo sounds much better, very easy to remove. The top is very light, but does require two to remove. I have actually removed mine twice alone, but it is difficult.
