B. INSPECT FOR AND REJECT IF: Funny thing is, because of the angle of the windshield, 95% of the banner was blocked from my view by the top of the windshield border. I suppose if a short person is driving, it might impair their vision of incoming dive-bombers.... so... I would have to get written permission from this guy to install the banner legally...CatDude Had to remove the POA windshield banner because of this (state inspection)!!
9. Any sticker is on the windshield other than an official one required by law, or permitted by the superintendent. Authorization is hereby granted to stickers measuring not more than 2 ½ inches in width and 4 inches in length to be placed in the blind spot behind the rear view mirror. Department of Defense decals measuring no more than 2 ½ inches in width and 4 inches in length may be affixed to the upper edge of the center of the windshield. Any sticker required by law must be placed adjacent to the official inspection sticker and must not extend upward more than 3 inches from the bottom of the windshield; except, on vehicles operating in interstate commerce, under rules and regulations of ICC, stickers required by law must not extend upward more than 4 ½ inches from the bottom of the windshield.CatDude "Superintendent" means the Superintendent of the Department of State Police of the Commonwealth of Virginia davidn just put a new one back on.... Dave Mills I'm glad I can just have my inspection sticker put on by a friend.....he just says "it wasn't there when I inspected the car" BeWare When I visit my Mother in W VA I hate driving through VA the most. The Cops are everywhere and in unmarked cars. Somtimes older models. I was with someone who got stopped in VA. Cop was in an un marked older Caprice. He was wearing a bowling jacket over his uniform. So when you past him you could not tell he was a cop. The lights were behind the grille. By the time my friend past him and noticed the lights hidden behind the grille it was too late. Gene Just another good reason to live in Florida,NO inspection or emmisson test reqarded.Ain't life great in the sunshine state.LOVE IT DIXIE Cat AMEN to that!! David Veu Casovic CJ That is a bummer!!! What about along the bottom of the windshield???
