More cars and other stuff New pictures in Personal Scrapbook (02/23/03) "The Prowler is not a car to go from Point A to Point B. The Prowler is the Point!" ------------------Sumrfun I was thinking of putting some modulating led strip behind the grill, was wondering if anyone knows if this is legal to run this way in Illinois? Hollywood always depends on the cop
edit 100000 post!meancat If your having fun It's illegal! ALLEY CAT In most states,,,use of Red or Blue or both of them, is illegal because they are for emergency vehicle use only. JMO Ray IL all depends on the cop, the area, and ... if in Chicago ... how much $$ you have in your wallet!! Mike Files I have purple Neons behind my grill

I have blue neons behing grill.
Looks great the whole inside of the grill glows blue.
Have not been stoped yet.CTProwler I have a red neon strip behind my grill! It doesn't modulate. I haven't been stopped yet! But I think your asking for trouble if it blinks, modulates, or looks anything like a emergency vehicle. If its not red or blue your better off. JMO pumpkin I have the lights that were in my bumbers in the grill. If I did get stopped I bet they would think its were they should be. I hope

"I may have to grow older, but I do not have to grow up!"Sumrfun Thanks everybody, I may convert them to stay on since I could be mistaken for an emergency vehicle, lol. Is sort of cool though, reminds me of the light on Kit in the Knightrider series. Bob Hacker Sumrfun,
What color and year is your car?
I live in McHenry also. Sent you an e-mail.
Bob
