21308000 This might be a handy thing to carry, especially if you don't have Run-Flats anymore. It should fit in what we refer to as the trunk. Price seems high but it may be available somewhere else. ~bg I thought you just hated a guy named Jack. :D Actually I don't care about Jack but I like to test the PC filter on this web site. ~bg ~bg You should be ashamed of yourself, Bill. That's hardly the precision you've presented to us in the past! -GRROWL Maybe Dan could do his fabulous artwork and show us what it would look like. ------------------ Maybe Dan could do his fabulous artwork and show us what it would look like. Might make more sense to have two, one on either side of the car as you would need a 17" and a 20" one. LOL! And here's an old Woodward This message has been edited by stevedymo on 03-19-2004 at 02:38 PM Yes, but which tire size would go in it??? This message has been edited by butchcee on 03-19-2004 at 05:05 PM And where does one put the flat after the change????growl http://www.calcarcover.com/ Al's Prowler http://www.calcarcover.com/product.aspx?id=231&s=on Black Tie 161 Oh Cool. obi-wan Several years ago I found a very nice hyd. scissors jack at Pep Boys( I think they are also avail. at Post Tools and others) They come in a very nice "blow Bottle" box that allows it the be nested between the hinges at the bottom of the trunk. I also got a METRIC star folding lug wrench and after wrapping it in several red shop towels was able to nest it just to the rear of the jack box. I also came up with a padded cradle that fits into the jack working head so that theres a proper padded head that won't scratch the under side of the a-arms. The jack works very well on the front or rear a-arm bottom allowing the wheel to easily be lifted off the ground in an emergency or for car shows like I do for showing the front brake system I've developed. This jack sells for around 50.00 and comes in several colors too. The insert I developed fits inside the box making this system very compact. I also carry a 12 vt. compressor too. Hope I helped- Obi-Wan growl >I thought you just hated a guy named Jack.
A 7/16" would be a 11mm, for those of you in Rio Linda.butchcee Nice compact jack, but it's lift is limited by it's design... no lift specs are given. Dont think it would do the job from the frame points but would be a good emergency jack from the a-arms to put on a spare if we had one. YellowFever So you have a lift....What do you do for the spare tire/rim????? growl Good point. I think that I would remove the flat tire/rim assy and then sit there and cry until someone came along and felt sorry for me. GRROWL quote:
