"I may have to grow older, but I do not have to grow up!"Karesel I had to have my Kat towed about 2 weeks ago. I have the service manual and the tow guy looked at it and was able to get the Kat on a flat bed without scratching it. However, we had to use towels to protect the nose since he didn't have a long enough nylon strap to hook it in the proper places and reach out to the cable. It worked but I think I will purchase a strap to keep with me. That will insure I never have to have the Kat towed again. The reason it was towed was it wouldn't start. The previous owner had the battery changed under warranty and the dealer used a battery with top and side terminals. The side terminals are not used and have a very cheap piece of plastic on them. If you look the way the battery sits the terminals are on the side of the battery closed to a frame member. You guessed it, the cheap plastic wore through and was arching to the frame. Luckily no permanent damage was done and it didn't burn the garage down. Karesel O yes getting it on wasn't a problem since the driveway is sloped but getting it off at the deal was a different store, he used some 4x4's to roll the Kat's front wheels onto to keep the nose high until it cleared the tow bed...
