I know this should probably be in off topic discussion, but, Tom S. in CT started it... Chuck had to be admitted back in to the hospital. Again he misses chatting with you all. Now he will have a real sick story to tell those of you with a strong stomach and a strange interest in medicine.. Take Care, Barb firegabe Keeping a good thought for you down here in Texas. ------------------ LOl, Chuck, I had an infection one time after surgery just a bump in the road. He had a huge incision infection.
They had to do a little procedure(not pleasant) and they are keeping him on IV antibiotics.
He will come home when the wound looks better.
It is a good one.
They did not even let me leave the room...
He should be home in a day or two. Small setback. His spirits are up, he lost 20 lbs or more and he is his same old self..just not happy sitting in the hospital..
He will "Be back" tangled up in BLUE maybe they'll get him fixed this time....bet his doctor was a DC "service tech" in a previous life......hope all goes well kid..... ProwlerOnline.com Click and see me go! Watch me light em up! dbudner Good to hear you are doing better Chuck. Seem that any surgery has a large risk of staph infection if a hospital is involved. My sister is the CFO of a large health care provider. She warned me of this when my wife and I were doing fertility things. Turns out a simple out patient thing cost 10 days of intensive care. Anyone can ask for this information and the occurance frequency at the hospital they will be treated at. Don't rush things even if you feel better, but do try to move around as much as the Dr. prescribes, sometimes being too careful brings it own consequeces. Remember that only you know what you are feeling and make sure you 'hollar' and discuss everything with the wife and doc. Top Kat Glad to hear you are back home Chuck. Take it easy and get well soon. JEFF@RHJEEP Glad you are back home. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

1-800-456-5337CTProwler Well its been 10 days since i ate last! After the operation you don't care if you ever eat again (pain). I've been around the house watching the kids and barb eat and then smelling the food is tough. Protein Drinks, broth, sugar free jello, water, sucks! 2 more weeks of this then 4 more of blended food. Boy i never thought baby food would sound good. I guess i'm in the depression stage now! I can't cheat one bit. If i get one little piece of food stuck in my stomach opening its back to the operating table I never went 10 hours without food, let alone 10 daysBeing a American it makes you realize how fortunate we are. Not many of us know what its like to go to bed hungry. CJ Hang in there Chuck, it will be all worth it in the end.
