jmcant1	In another thread some one stated that there are already more Crossfires produced than there were Prowlers. Is that true? My local dealer had 3 Crossfires on the lot a few months ago (haven't been back by lately), but they're still pretty rare in these parts. I have never seen one on the road, and the only other one I've seen was in front of another dealer out of town. What are the production numbers for the Crossfire? Thanks - Mike

SuperKat	If RPL said it, take it as fact. You will never get closer to the source than that. I do believe this is fantastic news to Prowler owners and it highlights the limited production. Gordon
alee	I like that fact we have a limited Production, A dealer told me that the Chevy SSR is only gonig to have like 2000 total.. is that true... My Dad just Picked one up, he loves it!
condor	The Crossfire is build in Germany and sold worldwide. DC is happy if they sell as much as they can. The prowler was olny sold in Canada and USA . I now only 3 Prowlers in my part of the country. But I saw more the 15 Crossfire in the past 2 weeks here. Over 60 % of the Crossfire production goes the USA.
Steve T	3,500 SSRs for 2003, 2004 sould go as high as 15,000. GenoTex	Chrysler Group has the capacity to build approximately 20,000 units, of which 15 percent will be earmarked for international markets. The Company expects to produce 11,000 units this year. Chrysler Crossfire will be available mid-summer 2003. jmcant1	Thanks guys! I went back by my local dealer, they had 6 snow covered Crossfires on the lot this morning. They appeared to all be white, but I am pretty sure that was the snow... Mike
spoons	Have they restarted the SSR production yet? I know they were having problems with the fenders and the production line was shut down for an undetermined amount of time. Lone Ranger	My dealer received three and still has three..Of course one of the problems is he wants $2000 over sticker..Maybe he'll get a clue and at least come down to sticker Jim
Black Tie 161	Maybe the Crossfires will sell better now that the $#@! greedy dealers have settled down and started actaully asking the MSRP instead of the usual gouging associated with hot new car releases.
dbudner	I talked to a guy the other day that had an SSR. He "bragged" that that he looked at the prowler but wanted something more limited and had some real hp. I offered him $100 on the spot to show me how fast his limited production vehicle would outrun my mass produced vehicle at an opening where we could have went stop light to stop light. I was nice and said well if anything you have a V8....
Black Tie 161	SSR is cool, but a stock Prowler will blow it's doors off! Why compare apples to oranges anyway?!?
JRL	Saw an SSR today at my local Nissan dealer of all places. (Already plated and not for sale) Black and dirty. First black one I've seen, didn't look too good IMO JRL
GenoTex	There's an SSR here in my little hicktown (45,000) on a used car lot already!
CJ	Have seen quite a few SSRs around town......but then this is Motor City. Have seen red, black, yellow. I still don't like them....the roof does not seem proportional to the rest of the vehicle.
Black Tie 161	CJ...good thing the roof goes down.....LOL. Personally I like the SSR. One of the FEW good looking GM vehicles made anymore. If you look at old Chebby trucks, you can see where they were going with the design. Problem is that there are SVT Lightnings and 5.7 hemi trucks that are true performance vehicles, while the SSR is a boulevard cruiser. Take the SSR for it's intent, and it's OK with me.
spoons	I like the SSR's looks, but how do you make something that small that heavy and make a V8 go that slow. Alsmost like a T-bird. ALL show and NO go. A chevy 3/4 ton pickup weights 500 lbs then an SSR.
