Steve TFriday at the Dallas Kruse Collector car auction a 2000 Woodward with 37 miles rolled across the block.

The bidding stopped at $32,000, the seller lifted the reserve and offered it to the next bidder at $33,000.
It did not sell. I will try to find out the sellers name and contact info and post in the classified if anyone is interested. It looks showroom new. The only thing I noticed was that the interior smelled "sour", like the it has mildewed. Not sure how you could get rid of the smell...

There is also a '99 Purple Prowler with chrome wheels and 697 miles. This one will be sold today. I will be bidding on this one.

I picked up a '68 Chevy step side with a nice custom paint job and a LT1 with a 700R4 tranny. The wife bought a very nice '69 Chevelle SS 396. Hope to have them all home later today and will post a few pics in the Off Topic section.

heynow14A Purple 99 with chrome wheels? I don't think they came that way. Although I may be wrong.~Robert
GRROWLI started looking in early 2000 when there were both 99's and 00's available. As I remember it, there were 2 options in 1999 - yellow paint and/or chrome wheels. I don't believe there was any problem getting a 99 purple with the optional chrome wheels.

Correct?

-GRROWL

ed monahanIn 99 there were several "options", none of which were optional. The yellow paint, the red paint, and the black paint were all options. Once they started using chrome wheels they were an option that were not optional, either.
I bought my red very early in April of 99 and they were using chrome wheels by that time. I am sure some of the purple were produced after my red.
I did not know about the other wheels at that time.
heynow14I believe yellow or red was the last color run in 99.~Robert
GRROWLWhen in doubt, just go to the "Prowler Story" on the homepage:
============================
September 1998

Chrome wheels are introduced into production. 308 Purple Prowlers are built with Chrome wheels (253 for US and 55 for Canada). Chrome wheels will now be standard on all future Prowlers. In addition, a chrome wheel option is now available for the Prowler trailer.

October 1998

Prowler Black is 3rd color added to Prowler pallet and Black production begins. Black is the first color produced with all wheels being Chrome.

idiveThe 99 model Prowlers started production in May of 98 and the first ones were purple with silver wheels. They later came out with yellow and put silver wheels on those as well. By the time the black ones came out, they were putting chrome wheels on the 99 model Prowlers, so some of the 99 purple and 99 yellow had silver wheels, and some of them had chrome wheels. I believe all of the 99 black Prowlers had the chrome wheels.
LOL Man, I type slow...
