Randy CobbI have been hearing an intermittent mechanical sound behind the dash of my Kat recently.

WELL,...found it.

I have been bragging about my wiper removal over the past few months... you guessed it! In flipping the turn signals, I had hit the wiper switch to intermittent. Wiper motor was the sound.

What a D****A**! Gotta laugh at yourself occasionally to stay sane!

pumpkinRandy, that can happen to all of us who have the wipers off. So my question is, do we happen to have an independent fuse that only effects the wipers operation. We can pull this fuse and never make this mistake again.

Randy CobbNorm -

Good point about the fuse. I don't know.

Anyone out there know?

Checked with our local Prowler mechanic and after several hours for him to find a break he finally provided the info. There is a separate fuse #15, 25 AMP located in the fuse block. You can also find this info in the Owners Manual on page 148.

CJRandy.......at least your man enough to admit it!!

Dave.......the rest of us get to laugh at you too!!

DR PROWLERTotally agree with CJ!
Haven't we all done dumb things without having the courage to admit to doing them!
ALLEY CATCornCob - OK, you got it out. You wanted it off your chest and knew confessing here at the POA would be easier then telling the guys down at the office.

Sorry but eye don't doo things lick that
Randy CobbAC -
The guys at the office are use to me messing up and confessing. Minor mistakes keep me from appearing perfect...yeah, right! Plus my name's on the paychecks, so they're only gonna give me so much grief!

CJ, Dr. & Fixxum-
Yeah, I'm man enough to admit it when I goof up - I do it so often I can't hide it!

Another admission.
When I first got my Prowler (July of '02), I couldn't get the AC (air conditioner, not Alley Cat) to work. I messed and messed with it. I set an appointment with the dealer and on the way to the dealer I noticed the button to push in. Duh! I had never driven, much less owned a Chrysler product so I didn't know or notice you had to PUSH IN the AC button.

Anybody else done anything dumb with your Kat?
