------------------ ------------------ 2400 lbs and 300 hp,,,,,,,,,should make it move! ------------------ 27,000 miles of smiles Actually, although on a diffeent scale, you are pretty right. This is a one off, hand built car. Although it involved a Volvo engineer or two, it wasn't built by Volvo or as a prototype for any Volvo to come. I think I read the design exercise was to get the most out of then engine bay with minimal weight (naturally, using Volvo components). At 300 hp and about 1000 lbs lighter then a real prowler, would be a hoot to drive if anyone ever did make and sell them.R Rodenfels The November Car and Driver mentions and shows a picture of a Volvo that resembles the Prowler called the T6. Delivers about 300 horsepower (so they claim). Does not sound like it will make to production, check it out on page 34. JRL I own several Volvos including a new R, I haven't a clue as to what you're talking about.
JRLTFischer Not that long ago I watched a show on the new concepts and they pictured that car. Not as good looking as the Prowler but along the same lines. They said then that they probably would not produce it and if they did it would be a couple more years before they did. Tami MDProwler There was another post with a link to the pictures but the pitures are gone. It was an open wheel car very similar to the Prowler
Gary K Orange U Glad?ed monahan JRL, maybe buy a Nov. Car and Driver and look at page 34!!! Kraut Here it is ...................
ALLEY CAT I like the clean door look,,,,and no side marker light. Rear fenders look nice also. Needs the diagonal bar in the grill to be a Volvo, lol.
Call 911 - there is a Prowler in my garage....
LARRY SALZMAN - MESA, ARIZONARichard Jackson Not even close to the automotive art that the Prowler portrays. It looks more like the wooden car my son and I made in Cub Scouts. YellowFever quote:
