------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! LOL Richard Have also ordered a Hardtop ( got lucky...they had one and whoever ordered cx'd the same day I called!!!...Thanks!!) ------------------ssknar Hello out there. I am looking to buy a 2002 Prowler in Inca Gold. I have my sights on a used one , as well as a untitled new vehicle. I am in the midwest, so I would be able to use it 6-8 months a year. I have heated indoor storage for the winter. My uses would be for weekends, car shows, etc,. This would be my first time having a "toy" car. I am not the type who can handle any repair issues over and above the basics.
I believe I know the plus side of Prowler ownership.
What is the bigggest negative or hassle of ownership?
Thanks Alot!!CJ Welcome to the POA!! I own two Prowlers, Candy Red and Black and I can think of NO negatives or hassles to owning a Prowler!! I live in Michigan and my Prowler season is usually April/May (depending on weather) to the end of November. I bag mine for the winter and have not experienced any problems due to that procedure. I drive mine........as much as I can.......go to cruises (I'm not really into car shows.....I'd rather drive it than park it for a day).....and I have attended (and helped organize some) most of the major events (and some regional) that this club has. My husband and I have owned a lot of hot rods over the years and we have not had as much fun with any of them as we do with the Prowlers. This is a great group of people to hang with and a great site to be part of!

It's already paid on the used ones. Paid by the first purchaser. I bought my first one new in 99 and got socked a pretty hefty tax. My second one was bought used, and didn't have to pay the Lux. Tax. ohWEL Hello all... I am am a new proud Prowler owner...
Just got the Inca Gold from a dealer( new )... HUGE benefits to me were the fact that I have a full 3 yr bumper to bumper ..so no hassles if any problems... warranty went into effect the day I purchased.... Side note: NO luxury tax... was listed as a personal car....
Glad to join the club here!!!
and the weekender !!
Great Toy!!!CTProwler ssknarThe one negative i see is the fact that you can't drive it year round. Its not so bad, it gives you time to work on all the mods you'll be planning. I have a couple of Kats 2001 Blue--2002 Candy--Couple of Jaguars also. I can't drive my toys in the winter in CT. The second is all the money you'll be spending on all the Mods!!!Don't let the wife know how much things cost!!!LOL. Have fun finding one, i'd buy one with under 1000 miles, just as good as new. JRL Luxury tax is OVER,12/31/03
