Bob HarderI would like to put original black bumpers (not painted) on my '99 Red Kat...(mine are dark grey and I will be taking off front ones)...

Any leads on where to find some?

Andy RIf you can't find some, how about having yours painted a glossy black. I have seen that on other Prowlers and looks very nice.
CatwatchingKatAddict has Black painted back bumpers with yellow shimmers - it looks fantastic

You should see it at night with headlights on it - Really catches your attention.

Silver Cat 01Personally, I like the looks of the shiny gloss black bumpers. To me, it makes the bumpers a lot less noticible than the gray or body colored bumpers.

Dale BeamanMy 2001 Silver has black and my friends 1999 red has gray and I was looking at them together and thinking - the gray might look good with the silver and the black good on the red. What do you think?

We swapped with my friend who has a black kat. Our black pumbers really look good on his kat. HIs gray ones are on our shelf since we don't have bumpers. The gray ones may look nice. The swap is real easy and if you don't like it go back. I think the gray may look good.

Bob Harderblubyu,

Would you want to trade grey for black bumbers?

Think about and let me know...

Bob, if you don't like the gray paint them. They were painted from the factory.

I painted mine gloss black (I didn't like the gray either)
if you really want the semi gloss black they can add flattener to the paint before spraying, but it is easier to clean the gloss paint
