In addition to the nitrous reinstall - with much more professional insatllation, they will upgrade my nitrous switches, line loc and neon. Driver's seat repair and better installation of aftermarket tach, fuel pressue, nitrous pressure, and air/fuel gauges will also be done. New custom made headers are being fabricated and a new exhaust system with onlky the Borla tips left from before. The slotted and drilled front rotors will be sanded and powdercoated to match my blue flames. Calipers will also be done this way. Hopefully along with some dyno time, tuning tweaks, and on track time to rtest new engine/nitrous set up I should be ready for th Smokies! Can't wait until I pick it up August 16th. This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 07-14-2003 at 12:15 PM Very exciting .... Mike ------------------ Is ANYTHING on your Kat going to be stock after these mods? ------------------ Randy - I am just using Chysler's wonderful blank canvas they manufactured at the CAAP plant to create my own masterpiece! Still lots of stock parts left to alter in the future! Hot Rod Magazine is doing a story on the engine re-build for an upcoming issue. Dan Pena reposted the picture on that thread and renamed it the "Rumbler". Bob liked it so much, that he applied and received a personalized plate for the car. Thanks, Dan!!! Mike Happy Prowling Marty ------------------Marty Usher I took my Prowler back to Westech Automotive while I was working in Chicago last week. Actually the first time (2 months) was having engine rebuilt due to damage and deciding to upgrade. I was working out of town for five of those eight weeks and borrowed cars from friends and family when I was in town for a day or two and rented cars for extended pweriods at home. This time I was in Chicago working last week and leave for four week business trip on Saturday so I am driving a friend's limo around town this week. He is a Real Estate Agent that takes prospects looking for homes in a limo complete with wireless internet access, satelitte radio, cell phone, etc. so I am driving around advertising for him when he is not using it with clients. Hopefully - EVERYTHING will be finished this time and I can add more miles to the 60,000 on the odometer of the kat!!
