| whealy | All, It has come to my attention a few times over the past year plus of posting on the site that there has been some anger over my banner. Some think I purposely adjusted the color within the banner to mimic the High-Voltage Blue. Let me assure you that this was not the case. As a matter of fact, I had no idea what the High-Voltage Blue was when I asked Mr. Pena to pull my banner together. In any case, I've asked Mr. Pena to pull my existing banner and will replace it with actual photos of my car when my exterior mods are complete. I sincerely apologize to the Krehel's and all other board members for the animosity this has caused.

| ed monahan | Bill, you have got to be kidding!! There are so many mods and so many people playing with photo shop or whatever it is called, that no one should be even slightly upset. EVERYONE who is on POA should know who got the one of a kind H.V. Blue. I would not take it too seriously. |

I do read all the post and do not take any of this that serious.. I love the Prowler and no one can change that.
Some people will always have something to bitch about... I can not imagine Mike or Judy being upset with your choice of color on you banner.
Some years ago I painted my street rod the exact color of one of the hottest 32 fords of it time. All I needed to do to get the paint formula was to ask. The owner and Painter was more than happy to provide formula and explain how to achieve the same job.
He took it as flattery and was excited to help. On the other hand I also know a few that will not even tell you what brand they spray.... I know the majority of people I have meet associated with the Prowler are like me. Help all the way.... Jim R |

| ed monahan | Bill, I just did a search to look at your banner. I fail to see anything alarming. I would say, restore it. Alley Cat is one of the RANKing members and if he says it is okay, it is okay. If you ever met him you would know about the RANK part of it. lol. |

| KenG | Bill.....If someone has nothing better to do than to criticize someone else's banner, they need to get a life somewhere else. Make any banner you want...it's just a picture people! Additionally......every computer video card and monitor combination shows colors differently. That alone can cause color variations on a banner. don't worry about it....there are several people who have used Mike's cars in their avatar.......JUST LOOK AT THE DRIVE UNDER THEM, (shirley not that many people have cobblestone drives) and if you tok a picture of the HVB and place it next to your banner it would be much brighter blue........LOL |

actually, I just sold an orange 2001 and have a yellow 2000 and a Kandi 2002.....no blue Kat here for a couple of years.....the lime almost existed, but I sobered up and changed my mind at the last minute |

| dpena | Whealy, I really don't see what the issue is with the color. This is not a High Voltage Blue color whatsoever. Would the one that complained to Whealy please step up and explain what is the big deal?? At the time when I made Whealy's banner there was no Hot Voltage Blue Kat available. Whealy was going to give me some shots of his KAT once he was done with it. I'm on vacation right now and logged in from my parents house and was amazed to see such a thread. If you will not post here and are the silent type that just reads the board but does not post. Please email me since I created the banner. Email me at dpena@dpena.com Whealy, The banner has not been removed and you should keep it. It is a bad looking banner. A masterpiece amoung all the ones I have done thus far. I will when I get back use the image you have here with your permission and update your banner. Don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy the freedom Mike and team give us here on the POA.

| CatDude | Hey Dude... Don't sweat it. Don't be so sensitive (like me)... I doubt that you ruined anyone's day by having that banner. Some folks get a kick out of pushing other's buttons... The best thing to do is ignore 'em, and they'll go on about their business. I just feel sorry for Dan, now... He is going to be up days and nights working on designs until he comes up with something that will top that piece of work. ( I know you can do it, Dan, but just tryin' to make a point.  ) Now, I'm just thinking now what kind of controversial banner I could make for me... lol... ------------------
