1HOTCATJust got back from having my windows tinted, for the forth time, whole different topic, left the parking lot stop at the store got out of the car, and noticed on the weekender what appeared to be a cob web, went to remove it, and found out it was a deep scratch. Yes some SOB had taken a key along the back of it, luck for me they only got the weekender, and nothing else on the car. Have to repaint it soon, just needed to vent about this, thanks for listening, need to go make some jello shots for this weekend, think I will eat half of them.

CTProwlerSorry to hear about your Kat. I was out at a local bar a month ago and someone ripped my front grille off my jag. So i know how you feel. Its sad that people can get pleasure out of hurting others. Hang in there is just a way of life now.

tinyHotcat...I can understand your anger, its my worst fear when I park my kat....and if I ever have the pleasure of catching one of those sons of bitches who would key a car as sweet as one of our kats.....he'd need a proctologist to get his keys back. And maybe next year I can arrange a weekender for my Candy Red....I look the look and sometimes I need it when I go to the deli...
CJGeeze, Jerry........sorry to hear that! Some people just can't stand someone having something nice. Just plain mean.
Key ManSorry to hear, that really suks.
I worry everytime my Kat is out of it's bag.
Luv to get my claws on anyone, anywhere, anytime i
saw doing that to any ones car no matter what year make
or model.
Racer XSorry to hear about that.... there are some real idiots out there. My parents just bought a new Honda Element as a third car and someone keyed the trunk hatch on it. Some real jerks. Wish I could get a hold of them.

ALLEY CATHOTCAT - know how you feel. My '97 Dakota was 10 months old, when some guys left a sports bar in the shopping center where my truck was parked, and keyed the whole side of it I'd have taken somebody one inch from death if I caught them doing that!!! Then finish them off with a drop kick to the groin! I also feel better now that I vented,,,sorry.
Stray CatCan't believe how many jerks there are out there.... What a bummer. I agree, at least it was not the car.

Steven R. GaryJerry, sorry to here about the key job done on the weekender. Just ordered mine and hope to have it next week. I will never understand what joy, some S@B's jet out of damaging someone else's property. Wished a lighting bolt would make ink spots out of anyone damaging someone else's car or anything. Have a great 4th weekend.
jmcant1Like the rest, sorry to hear it!

I was in an apartment for a few months this winter. Left the Cat in a 'protected' spot in the parking structure, between a huge concrete post and a wall (no door dings possible). The structure was covered but had no windows of course, so eventually the Cat got very dusty (it was winter so I wasn't driving it much at all). Some guy wrote "Please Buy Me A Car Cover" in the dust on the trunk lid. The next day someone else added some, uh, male genitalia on the trunk lid (huge). I had to dust the trunk lid and then DID cover the car. I was somewhere between offended that someone would write on my car, and pleased that no real damage was done...

BeWareSorry to hear about what happened. In 1978 I had a brand new Triumph Spitfire Convert. I parked it with the top down outside a department store in SLC Utah. Some put their cigarette out in the seat. It does not have to be an expensive car to be a target. Just flashy.
Kid RockOne thing that really gets me, a %^^%&& keyer. Being a cop I get tons of these reports monthly. Caugh a guy keying my jeep about 5 years ago. I do know now he uses dentures.

I park wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy out in the parking lots away from all.

Sorry to hear you car got keyed

Kid Rock

thecatos I was sitting out on a patio, having coffee an admiring my car, when a few guys standing around, one turned to the other and said someone should kick the car the guy can afford it. I sat by waiting to see where this would lead. They started walking off, one of them said my cars better than that one(the prowler). I saw them about 1/4mile down the road...walking still. I drove by, and waved. I guess his better car dosn`t drive much. They gave me the thumbs up??? Didnt quite get that one.

meancatHey 1HotCat...I was just sitting here thinking about you. You now can paint your weekender pretty yellow. You would then be half way there.
Anyway, it does stink. We just have one of those cars that is very noticeable. Does not matter where we park. We can not hide it. Some people are just darn destructive. Remember, what goes around, comes around.

Hope you had a fun weekend!!!
kim and jerry

SuperKatVery disappointing news for sure. I do hope that we have security at the Smokies event to protect against that one jerk. The Winged Warriors had a security officer every night in the parking lot.
Marty UsherJerry - that sucks. I'll never understand how damaging someone else's property will make you feel better.

I guess I have been fortunate that with 60,000 miles on the kat, nothing has ever happened to it in a parking lot.

I hope you get it repaired soon.

Marty
