THIS is a test... Don... ------------------ ------------------ We know that 18 have confirmed to be willing to pay for the panels. There are some questions that answered may add to my understanding why more owners haven't "confirmed." 2. What percentage are satisfied with the production panels? (We know that there is a certain percentage who insist that their Prowler remain stock.) 3. What percentage of Prowler owner aren't aware these panels are being made available? 4. What percentage of Prowler owners are active on the POL web site? "acceptance" percentage + "rejection" percentage + "unaware" percentage = 100 percent The "unaware" percentage could be very large? Am I sounding a little too desperate here? Terry I want 10 sets free. I sell them later and split the profits This is not to be critical of the POA, this is pretty standard with any web site. The Ford Truck website boasts of 100K registered members. Can you imagine what that site would be like if all 100K were posting? I'm also guessing price is a major concern of alot too since the real cost will be more like $2,000 once you have to get them painted and such. The panels do look very nice though!!!!! ------------------ Higher on the prioity list for me is closing on a new home and building my dream Kat House (garage). To answer the question - Of couse I'd take some free ones! ------------------ YF, As for me, I guess I'm odd man out. I like my stock side pannels. ------------------ Thanks Gene...I was thinking of that on the next run I'm hoping this poll might give us idea of how many of the Don This message has been edited by Northern Cat on 06-30-2003 at 08:56 PM Richard ------------------Northern Cat If the Side Panels were free how many would want them..
Let's see how many are really out there..lolCTProwler I'm # 1 SPCL-T Looks like I'm #2. Gary C Me three Hollywood yup
2000 Toyota Celica GTS (For sale)
1999 Plymouth Prowler (For sale end of june)
2004 Lotus Elise (Coming Soon! 10 more months!!!)Terry Another way of looking at this situation is: Who many Prowler owners decided that $1500.00 was too much for the panels offered?
So...
1. What is the "acceptance percentage"? MeanGene Don, YellowFever While there may be 2500 registered users, I suspect the vast majority of those have moved on or were just curious and wanted to post a reply or post an ad and had to register to do so. I'd be surprised if more then 300 posted consistently with this site. Rick Buehler I'll take a set. dpena I will take 30 sets so I can sell them for $1500
I did not replay to the other posts because I have some already..

frozen prowler I'll take a set CJ I'm sorta with Dan.........I haven't posted because I already have a set of louvered side panels done by Pete Chapouris at SoCal Speed Shop (only 3 sets made) and I am very happy with them. Thanks for asking, though! Bcoffman Gray Ghost I will still take one set. But not pay until they are ready to ship. Price is fine. Either way on the side marker lights. How ever the rest want them. Randy Cobb I think the proposed panels look great, but after painting $2k total for them is a little high for me right now. I'm not saying that they are not worth that much, but I'm not willing to spend that much for them now. whealy quote:

There were just over 500 responses to last weeks poll with judy's request. So the number may be a little higher, but not much.Northern Cat If you look at last weeks Poll on Age Demographics
in 7 days there were 501 users..and that not take into
effect the people can log on from different Computers
and vote more than once...But I don't think they do that do you?
do Chucks idea and do the EBAY thing..lol
500 active members are ever interested in buying
aftermasket panelsRichard Jackson I want a set free, but I want them painted and no sidelights! Dale Beaman As the second poorest Prowler owner the new price fits into my budget! I would love to have a set of the side panels but many are just like me - all my extra $$$ goes to the payment. Now if I win the $165 million Powerball I will take a couple of sets plus a VIPER, a Cobra, H2, the first 2005 Mustang GT convertable, etc. ed monahan I will take two sets. I will use one set and put the other set away, to sell when other people see them and say, "Darn, I wish I would have bought them, similar to what happened when they saw Blue Tie's set". The price will be higher, however. Anyone else want to order two sets so we can get to 30 sets? CTProwler I was thinking about 2 sets but i wanted each kat to have a different look. I still would like to know if they made 60 70 --80 sets what price would be?? BeWare I would take most anything that was free, so yes I would take a set. I echo Randy Cobb's comments, with the exception that I am not closing on a home. My car has custom pin striping and by the time I had them painted. (I am guessing $800 based on the fact my hood cost $400 to repaint). And then get them striped to match the rest of the car I would be appraoching $3K. I would rather put that kind of money into a chrome front suspension or maybe a hardtop. ed monahan Rich, yellow hard top for $ 1200 in the free classified ads, here. It is in Texas. Someone can bring it to the Smokys for you.
