Dale BeamanHad a GREAT time at Kentucky Speedway today. It was the first time I had been over 90 in my Prowler and feeling pretty good. Looked in the mirror and a Red Viper passes on the outside - what a blast! Thank to Ed for planning the get together. 4 Prowlers, 2 Vipers, 1 Cobra and a Lambo equals an awesome sight!!
ed monahanDale, nice meeting you and your son-in-law. Glad you had fun, I know I did and I hope to see you at some of the events coming up in the near future.
R RodenfelsThis was a fantastic afternoon! Anyone who would ever have an opportunity to do something like this, you will never regret it. Had the best time with the crew and the other guys we went with. Could have stayed all night. Still smiling.
Thank to Ed and Andy. Looking forward to seeing Andy's video.
Bob
CTProwlerSounds like fun---Did you have to wear any special equipt or have a Roll Bar etc. My jaguar club has a weekend in May at Limerock in CT. You have to have a roll bar in your Car. Who is going to do that with their pleasure vehicle??Alot of restrictions that i don't meet

KenGOk.....you guys have done it......you have caused a grown man to cry! Here I sit with the tears running down my cheeks and into my keyboard. I wanted so bad to attend that event but another family activity was also scheduled that day. NOW after hearing about the many laps and awesome collection of cars I just can't stand it. What an awesome site....glad you guys had fun even though I wasn't there. Now you have me hoping November gets here sooner so I can go next time......how stupid is that

Andy.....where's the video....I have got to see it!

Marty UsherDale - it was nice meeting you in person. We hope to see you at the Smokies later this year.

Bob - how much wind buffeting do you get at 125 MPH with the top down?

Ken - not only do we look forward to going back but I think the track crew really looks forward to our return also. In addition they have a SCCA track on property that we can look into using in the future!

Dale BeamanCTProwler, "It was run what ya brung!" No special equipment needed, just an extra big smile!! It was fun to meet Ed, Marty and the others. Can't wait to see the video.
Andy RThat's funny Dale, because I remember passing a Silver Prowler on the outside. I know they said no passing, but after Larry and Charlie sped past me, I could not resist.

Again, what a great time at the track and meeting everyone.

I'll have copies as quickly as possible. I'll add Larry's video taken from outside of the cars to mine as soon as I get it. (Ken, I'll send you one too just to make you jealous. I hope your daughters dance competition went well)

Whoever wants a copy, please send me your name and address. Use my email link.

JUST JPPlease post the video when you can. I want to see it. What kind of Lambo was there? Let us know.

Andy RHere's a piece of video from the track:

It is 2.8MB. Sorry about the quality, I am still learning the best way to compress to small size and keep the best quality picture possible.

PROWLER-KEITHWow guys that looks like it was a blast. Andy how fast we're you going when you we're filming? Dan in the link you posted who own's the Blk Kat in the middle up front with the different rims?

PK

ed monahanPK, Andy will probably answer later and can clarify but I think we were going 80-90 MPH there. He has some at about 125 MPH that he can hopefully post later. Sunday is a busy day for him so don't expect it today. He had a video camera mounted on his passenger seat of the Viper and it looks like he was following me, or at least my car, in that clip.
Andy REd's right, I probably got to 90-100 passing there.

It seems hard to get the impression of speed with this camera angle, but we sure felt it while driving!
