They are: But: I wouldn't trade mine for any of those cushy cars. Since I bought mine 2 months ago I haven't been in my other car because the Prowler is just too fun to drive!! ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 I love it the way it is - until I make my next modification. Is it perfect? NO, but there is not another vehicle I would rather be driving everyday. You forgot to tell Dave you extra head room by shaving your head LOL. Since you don't need the booster sit I am assuming you lowered the seat to look out the window. Have a save and Happy Holiday Your Friend ------------------Dave Maddy Prowlers are inconvenient:
* Hard to get in and out of (I'm 6'1")
* My head hits the soft top
* I have to bend down to see out the window
* The gas station comes too quick (12 gal tank)
* Bumps in the road shock your spine
* There is no trunk storage
* Conversations on the Interstate are impossible with the top down
* With a 4" clearance speed bumps and parking bumpers are dangerousWPG • Prowler "techs" do their best Planet of the Apes impressions while working on the Prowlers
• Convenient annual replacing of the chrome wheels
• abundant supply of accessories
• convertible tops with convenient fabric pull-away feature
• battery terminals with the corrosion resistance of peanut brittle
• 10 year parts supply of tires runs out less than a year after production
• tremendous aftermarket support from Chrysler
• three-year factory warranty gets more use than some of my credit cards
I will continue my list later after I take a deap breath

10.ed monahan Dave Maddy, welcome to the POA. I am 6' 2" so I kind of know what you are talking about. Besides that I weigh too much. Did you know that your driver's seat can be lowered by one of the levers on the side? I did not realize that at first myself. Another way to GAIN headroom is with the hardtop. It is about an inch higher on the inside. I have had my cat for over 3 1/2 years and plan on keeping it until I can no longer drive.
Like Marty said, there are some shortcomings but not enough to make me think about selling it. Brian King Hi Ed CTProwler I'm 6'1" over 300 lbs. (I'm not jello though, built more like a pro football lineman)(just for the record!!)LOL I 've only put a couple hundred miles on mine since winter came. But its alot of fun. You can't put anything in it. I'll have to drive to the Golf course by myself. If i wanted to take it cross country, i'd buy clothes every few days and throw them out. I'm lucky and have alot of vehicles like most prowler owners. My Kat is for me to drive, when I want to. Its alot of fun owning a Car that has a website!!! I stopped at the grocery store once and that was a mistake. (See First line). I just bought a Prowler Brochure on ebay, that means i'm keeping it a long time.. ed monahan Brian, I shaved my head for when the top is down!!. I hated the wind whipping my hair into my eyes. l o l. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all you northerners.
CJ CTCProwler............email me..........I may have some extra copies of some of the Prowler brochures that I can share with you! Black Tie 161 Dave Maddy: Try this for more headroom....(I am almost 6'2" and have no problem with headroom.) Move your seat forward towards the steering wheel. Then push down as far as it will go. You might find the seat goes down more when it is away from the seats backstop, which is inclined and can reduce your ability to get the seat as low as it will go.
2,600 miles on mine and absolutely trouble free. I get crazy reading about potential problems, but I am happy for this forum so I get a heads-up for things to look out for. I clean my wheels several times a week (maybe they won't pit then???) and this car is my daily driver...rain, snow, whatever, I don't care. But you can bet the car is cleaned in my garage before the engine even cools!
