J AllenWhat comes standard. Does a cover and mud flaps?
Black Tie 161errrr....no.

I was lucky enough to have mudflaps already installed as it was the dealership owners car for a bit.

Mudflaps are a must.

Everything on the car is standard. There really are no options. In 99, factory chrome wheels instead of powder coated was a option but, after that, chrome was then the standard.

I always get a chuckle out of dealers selling them on eBay saying, "this car has all the options, CD player, CD changer, autostick,...."

They ALL have all those things.

Mupflaps, car covers, T-shirts, hats, etc. really aren't options, those are accessories and none come with the prowler (except the HV Blue).

The 97 year model has 214 hp and the others have 253 hp.

The shocks also changed in 2000 but, other then that, they basically all are the same.

Good Luck.

Marty UsherThe only other options were "special" paint like the Black Tie & Woodward. I also think some other colors were originally an added expense option.

Gary ArcherInca Gold W/pin strips was a option in 2002.

ed monahanThe early 99's had powder coated wheels but they switched to chrome and charged $ 1000 extra. You did not have a choice so in reality it was not an option. All of the Red and Black came with chrome, but some of the purple and yellow had powder and some had chrome depending on when they were made.
BeWareGary I was at the Chrysler dealer Saturday and was really surprised to learn the Inca Gold color was an option. Yellow was an option in 99.

ed monahanRich, did they charge extra for every color? I know it was $ 1000 option for the 99 Red. I guess you could get it unpainted and it would not be an option. lol. Were any of the colors STANDARD?
CJThere were also several other changes, even though they weren't considered options.

1. Speed sensitive radio
2. Compass/Temperature Mirror
3. Chrome Shifter bezel

BeWareI believe I am correct that Purple was standard
ALLEY CAT4. Counter-clockwise turning harmonic balancer
5. Added Watts to the audio system
