Just thought you may like to see something different. You will find the car in the installs section under SQ Plus Demos Parts 1- 4 and also on the Diamond audio website www.diamondaudio.com Products - mobile audio - installs Hope you like our car we are about to do a paint job on it over the winter and then we my start on the engine. Regards Phil Can you tell us more about the replicar? It looks pretty good in places. Where is it made? How much? What engine? Are the body panels OEM or is it all copies? etc. etc. Thanks PK This message has been edited by PROWLER-KEITH on 11-18-2002 at 06:58 AM This message has been edited by whealy on 11-18-2002 at 09:22 AM Seriously, it looks like a first rate installation. Not being able to have a convertible top limits the car's functionality but it is certainly a show stopper. Like others I am curious about the drive train and chassis used. Well the car is based on the UK car the Ford Granada 2.9 V6 with auto box. The frame is made to take the donor parts all the outer panels are Fibre glass copys and the inside is all hand made by us at SQ Plus. The wheels, windscreen, lights, front grill, wing mirrors and side glass windows are all factory as we needed the car to look like the factory spec. The stwheel is also on the right side for UK driving so this makes the car even better for us here. The next best thing is that the gear shift knob, this has 4 buttons that control the car, so no keys needed just press a button and the car starts. The radio, lights, wipers and door openers are also operated by the buttons. The screens all 13 of them are for show and to get peoples attention and the screens in the bumpers sure do. The screens and CDradio and processors are all Alpine and the amp and speakers are all Diamond Audio. We have a hard top for the car, just needs abit more work and some neet way to fix it down. As for the girls we will show you some more of them with the car soon. P This message has been edited by SQ+ Prowler on 11-18-2002 at 09:38 AM Do you intend to market the replica Prowler? How about the interior upgrades? And, are you going to post prices and packages for the sound system? Inquiring minds want to know! ------------------ We cant put a price on our car as we hand made all the panels inside and put many hours into it that most customers would not pay out for but the dash would end up being $5000 doors £1500 each, boot panel sit down for this $6000. The only thing is that your cars do not have a boot so there is no space for a sub box or amps and a big build. But if anyone wants to Fly me over to do some work on there car just give a call. ------------------ I do like the speaker setup behind the seats. ------------------ I think that was the main problem for them. They are selling sound upgrades and the Prowlers lacks the room they needed. I just bought a Superformance Cobra and want to install a sound system. Have you done any installations such as this which is based on the AC body? If so, please reply to foowowee@earthlink.net. You car looks superb, nice job. ThanksSQ+ Prowler Hi all
First thing is to say that this Prowler is a copy and some people will not be happy with this, but we needed a car that had the looks and the pulling power. This the prowler has also the car can go to any show and people will look at it. The car is not good for Audio upgrades in factory form so this copy did let us do what we wanted. We did try to make the car a much like the original thing as possible and if you would like to see this car that has now become the best Audio demo car in England please visit www.sqplus.com Andy R I like all of the custom dash work, and the screens in the bumpers! PROWLER-KEITH Wow is what I'm saying. The shifter I noticed has a different shift patern than the stock one why? the screen on the front bumper what is it for pardon my probably dumb question lol This Kat will definately rock that's for sure. What kind of frame is under it? power excetra whealy Looks cool. My guess is the display on the bumper is to allow them to adjust the "volumn" without having to get in the vehicle. Is the steering wheel supposed to be on that side? Marty Usher The monitors in the back of the headrest are great for the back seat passengers! Punk N Purp What car.? All I noticed was Vikki and Melissa. I have to say, they were very nice though! SQ+ Prowler Hey Thanks for the kind words. TLRandall The big question -
