My good friend mocks the Kat cuz I don't burn rubber like he does in his SVT Lightning (415hp) truck. Got to shut this guy's mouth.... Welcome to ProwlerOnline. Here are 3 mpegs: http://www.krehel.com/hotprowler/Smokin1.mpg http://www.krehel.com/hotprowler/Smokin2.mpg http://www.krehel.com/hotprowler/Smokin3.mpg ------------------ We have been waiting for you, glad you decided to post over here. If its one post or a thousand you are very welcome to visit any time. ------------------ Appreciate the mpg files, but my lame computer has problems getting those. Do you have any jpg files so I can email those images? Thanks for the warm welcome to your forum. I am very appreciative and learn from everyone in these clubs about my prowler. Thank you to everyone! I think everyone should be a team player... T = Together E= Everyone A= Achieves M= More Here are 3 pictures of my nitrous cat lighting them up.... ------------------ [This message has been edited by Mike Krehel (edited 09-21-2000).] Exactly what I was looking for to show the kat has guts!! ------------------ davidn ------------------ You never let up , big plans for you at GC, Look over that shoulder. ------------------ I think Gary C. has like 710 posts...damn! Thanks again.....prowl on!! I know some of you did the entire 16 miles of the cruise. I stayed in Pontiac while I was there. The Pontiac police were certainly letting pretty much anything go, but the media was always talking about zero tolerance for burn outs and racing. Were other stops on the cruise more hard line than Pontiac? I hope Pontiac has the same 'look the other way' attitude next year myself. I watched some of those GTO's pulling out of their lot onto Woodward, and the cop at the corner seemed to be enjoying those guys getting on it as much as the crowd! Light'em up guys! Mike No line locks. Just power braked until the back wheels broke loose and then let up slightly on the brake just enough to keep the fronts locked up. 75hp shot of giggle juice! ------------------ ------------------ In the process of looking for something else, I found this link in the archives. I really enjoyed watching Mikes burnouts. ------------------ or simply put, "Guess what car is NOT a '97. Thanks Mike ps (Here's a footnote for under each picture. Great pics Mike! I love the 3 pics of the Purple 99. Brian So I have to ask, "Where do you hide the bottle"? This message has been edited by Ed W. on 04-12-2005 at 07:38 AM Low end torque, a decent first gear, & 3:70's (or lower) would produce the smoke without the necessity of the "left" pedal.Joe Rad To defend the image of the prowler for every hot rodder....does anyone have a picture of the Kat burning out?

00blk in TexasPhxSuncat Joe Rad - Welcome to the Prowler Owners Assoc. website - notice how fast the answer to your post came thru, as our group will go that extra mile for each other. Stop by often, and hey, we could use a pilot on standby over here. Seems we have this one character who gets out of line quite often, and we may need to charter flight him off to a African country, where he can RIDE a real breathing Prowler/// or to India, as he now likes
Vipers!
Larry Salzman AZ - POA Gary C Suncat welcome to the 300 club I was there months ago welcome. PhxSuncat Gary - I want to be just like you when I grow up. YOU are the KING of posts! Bringing my mean, aggressive, attack dog to GC trip----HE will watch over my shoulder. He (Henry), kicks butt and checks for ID later! Wildcat sent me one of your socks that you left at his place - Henry now has the SCENT, and that LOOK in his eyes! Pitty the FOOL! Pitty the FOOL who steps in his path! Your dog's owner will have one less leg to be pee'd on! No respect!
Larry Salzman AZ - POA paulr Joe- Welcome aboard(hehehe). We welcome anyone and everyone and especially those who like to post, if not we would have gotten rid of GaryC a long time ago. We are a funloving group of owners that like to Prowl and have fun with each other as often as we can. We will talk again soon. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to give me a shout. WELCOME AGAIN! FatManInTheBathTub Mike, do you have a line lock on that killer??? 75hp shot of giggle juice! RHinson The problem with the Lightening boys is that if you have to power brake it to spin the tires they are just not impressed. I car that is truly powerful should spin them on the roll or hook-up and finish the 1/4 in the low 11s or 12s. Ed W. quote:

Your point is well taken.
I personally think that given the EPA friendly rear axle gears & lock-up torque converters, nailing it in today's world will return a tremdous "bog" if you don't power brake.
