1buddycSold 2/11/13. I have a Black Generation II TGF Hardtop. No longer made, hard to find item. This one comes with the Cart and Cover, everything as shown in the pics. I believe it has the longer replacement rear hardtop pins but cant swear to it. Headliner will need to be reglued in a few places. Perfect weatherstrips.
CANT SHIP, YOU WILL NEED TO PICK IT UP OR ARRANGE SHIPPING.
As long as it is paid for, I am happy to store it for you until you can get it, it wont be in my way. $3500.00 firm.
Offering here first, before going to flea-bay.

beachcatBuddy I've heard that there were only 300 of the 2nd gen TGFs made. Do you know if that is accurate?

If it is, then your top and the others are highly collectable and your price is an absolute bargain.

I am a little biased since I have 2 of them but didn't we just see a black one go for $5800 on flea bay?

1buddycRoger, I really have no idea how many TGF produced but would be suprised if it was more than 300..

DrillinU, I sold a Hardtop to a guy in Canada once and he called a place called Freighters and Craters. They had a local shipping company come to my house and pick the top up, package it and then shipped it to him in Canada. They had me put the Hardtop Cover on the Hardtop, then set the Hardtop (covered) in the Rack and then saran-wrapped the Hardtop to the Rack so it couldn't fall over or anything. Then they wrapped the whole thing in Blankets and rolled it onto their truck.
I have no idea how much he paid for this.

DrillinUI'll call, get more info tomorrow. thx

BatMobileIs the fabric coming down?
In this picture it looks like it needs tightening the fabric. or is it ok?

1buddycThe fabric is loose from the roof itself, is sagging down and will need to be re-glued back. A simple inexpensive job for an Upholstery Shop.
These tops dont have a form-fitted headliner or anything like that. It is just a bulk piece of headliner material cut by TGF to fit and then glued in.
DrillinUwaiting on a quote
1buddycI have a full price offer from someone I know, but with some down and payment of balance in near future.. Considering this one. I told him I would let him know one way or the other by this evening.
If there are any others considering this Hardtop, now would be the time to let yourself be known and commit.

DrillinUI would love that hardtop, but I have just been quoted by them for $967 ouch.

Right now it's out of my price range.

1buddycTop is SOLD, thanks for everyone's interest.
