As Curt keeps saying, if you haven't driven Devil's Highway in Arizona then you have missed out! I had a dash cam in my Prowler and set it to time lapse the entire trip. Here's the YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4NuIqT0iTc&list=PLmPGi5CVcIeyKlUOx49H6zlMh78aOEGEb I divided the segments so they can be viewed individually and the link above is set to play each segment. Note that if the quality is not that good then you can force better quality by moving your mouse over the bottom right of the video and selecting the Settings icon to change it. Enjoy! I know I did! Thanks Curt, Jer and Janet! My outing today was taking the Prowler and having it pollution checked. lol It sure looked easier going up in elevation instead of dropping 10,000 feet to the desert floor, and having to have driver tunnel vision while 100% attention is on the sharp curves and massive switchbacks to negotiate. Good job on the videos When you click the video link you'll notice that it is in a Youtube playlist. The other files are on the right side as the first file is playing. The Devil's Highway Run is Day02Part01. We started in Alpine and went down to Morenci so we were mostly going downhill; and I was just trying to keep up with Curt! Lots of fun and I was looking forward to meeting you so hopefully on next year's run if not sooner! -- Jeff I seen all the others and some how missed that one,,me bad. The speed of the video doesn't really capture the hard steering needed many times while taking those switchback turns.... You trying to stay up with Curt? Maddawg6 There might not have been much attendance at this years event but WOW what fun! I have never had so much fun driving a vehicle in my life!! padroo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4NuIqT0iTc&list=PLmPGi5CVcIeyKlUOx49H6zlMh78aOEGEb padroo quote:

Thanks for the videos Jeff, I really enjoyed them.dpanderson How cool is that.
Great videos......ALLEY CAT Jeffrey,,,, Thanks for posting, since I couldn't make this trip this year. Didn't see much footage of the actual Devils Highway switchbacks, but I'll assume you were very busy on the steering wheel at those moments Maddawg6 Alley Cat, ALLEY CAT Jeff....you are right, I must of missed that one segment

Curt couldn't keep up with me when I ran that run several times.....he was a "also ran horse" and punishing his cat's brakes driving the 15-20-25 mph speed limits while I was flying at 50 to 65 mph. And I was only 2nd best, as Mike Rutherford (from down your way) could go 70+ through that run I'm sure Curt will deny this, lol
The 5 mile 'flat plateau' is also a blast where one can go WOT and see far ahead if any traffic is coming towards you. Some of the Vettes and Porsches traveling with us would run 150+ through that area.
Great job on the video....maybe slow this one down to visualize the switchback turns? Those could be punishing for many drivers......as some found out during our adventures
