Look forward to another gathering, and hopefully the colors will be right... it's a little early, but last time, just two days before the run, a nice 50MPH windstorm came through and blew all the leaves to the ground, making for a 'bare' run... better some color than no color
Tentative idea is to meet just north of Milwaukee (Kewaskum) at 1:00 pm, continue north into the Kettle Moraine State Park area, then on to supper at a Pheasant Club (new log cabin with huge deck) overlooking a gorgeous valley... They serve steak suppers (and ONLY that) on this Saturday... They 'start' at 4PM... and we would be wise to be there early. -- figure dinner to be in the $25/person range... and they have two working bars, one inside, one outside ---
If you'd like to join us for this 2-3 hour cruise through some nice countryside, please let me know.

| Laddie Roussel | Hey Geno. I was just up in your country picking up my Prowler. On the way back down to Bayou country now. Stopped in Springfield, Il. to tour the Lincoln presidential museum and couple of things along rte 66 that I missed. Karen and I visited our old home from 25 years ago in Waukesha and went out to La Duc's in Wales for ice cream. Place still there and still the best soft serve ice cream I have ever eaten... That's a terrific picture and have fun on KM trip... |
