I believe there is also an issue with the load (or lack thereof) in the LED and that too, would require addressing. It still runs "manufacturer" plates, so you know Mother MoPar always knows where it is......... Yup, there oughta be a book written............Ed W. Anyone figure out a way to incorporate the signals into the exterior rear view mirrors? WildCat quote:

I spoke with Jerry at length this past Spring at the Silverdome. IF I had those same resources.........
That is an incredible car & I can only hope for all Kat owners, someone writes an in-depth book on it. Sad to say, it is on borrowed time.firegabe why is it on "borrowed time"??? Ed W. quote:

It belongs to D-C.
It's a "mule" (test bed), not EPA compliant, cannot be sold to the public. Must be scrapped.Marty Usher I think someone should switch body parts with the Iscream car the night beofre it gets crushed! Ed W. I'll tell ya Marty, if ever there was a sacred cow, this is it. You could write volumes on this vehicle. What it has seen, what's been done, redone to it. Our '97 is #308 and IScream is "much older" than that. IScream was originally a pastel yellow! BlackAMX Ed,
Here's how I did it; I got 2 red signal lights that looked like giant lollipops with threaded rods. First I drilled a half inch hole straight through the mirrors then I put the threaded rod of the signal light in the hole and run a nut and washer up to the bottom of the mirror ,then I ran the wires under the hood. I then connected the wires to the front signal lights. Be careful you don't want to over tighten the nut on the bottom of the mirror or you will damage it. If you do crack the mirror housing you can hide the crack with duct tape. I used the signal lights that have an amber lens on the front and a red lens on the back. Now when I use my signal lights everyone knows which way I'm turning. My next project is mounting driving lights on the front fenders. They'll be great for driving at night, when going around curves the lights will turn with the fenders.Neat. I'm also thinking of mounting an amber strobe on the convertable top. I think I got the bugs worked out on that. I used duct tape to cover the holes.
I hope this helps you out.Ed W. Do you have a cousin by the name of Daisy Duke? MDProwler Watching too much Red Green! BlackAMX Handymans secret weapon. ed monahan The turn signals in the mirrors cost something like $ 1700, just FYI. ALLEY CAT IMO, they only belong on trucks and SUVs [sorry Jerry S.],,,,,,I don't think the original Prowler designers had that option in mind for a retro looking hotrod. Just me,,,and my opinion only. To each their own.
