I used to use Mothers wax, but after using Zaino, I'd never use anything else... GRROWL (aka Dr. Detail) is the person who turned me on to Zaino. Scott I used to use Mothers wax, but after using Zaino, I'd never use anything else... GRROWL (aka Dr. Detail) is the person who turned me on to Zaino. ditto on that... Zaino is top notch.... ------------------ http://www.zainomobiledetail.com/150detail.html Also check out Zainos website at: Yazz Do a search here for ProtectAll (or Protect All). It is wipe on, wipe off and is good for every finish on the car, including the wheels. You can get the Zaino shine without all the work. I put it to the test - I waxed half my car with Zaino and did the other half with ProtectAll and took it to a Prowler event. I couldn't find anyone that could tell the difference. You can buy it at Camper World or at Wal-Mart. Here is a link to their site: I sent them an email after my experience with it and they put pictures of my kat on their site: I know, I know... it can't be that good because you don't spend a ton of money and time on it... take a break and enjoy more time looking at your kat and less time making it look awesome! ------------------ Forgive the question, but what is Clay Bar?? I have seen it mentioned a few times & assume that it is some kind of pre cleaning agent, but specifically what is it & what are the benefits, other than a good wash down prior to polishing Many thanks MikeIM IN XTC has anyone ever used "Zaino" on there cars and is this a good product? IM IN XTC wow Candy Apple
Great but Yellow Rocks Bob Miller Zaino is ALL I use on my Prowler. Wayne Finch Zaino Feral Zaino is great wax, but time consuming. It really doesn't start to show until the third or fourth coat. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter, especially the prep stages. I love Zaino, but I recently switched to Meguiars' NXT Generation line. It's just less time consuming and works great on light colors. (My car is silver) If you have a dark color car, Zaino is the way to go. I use it on my black cars and it is outstanding. halicat quote:

BradleyG It's all I use. First time with stage 1 and prep is time consuming, but WELL WORTH the effort. Simonsez This is my 4th year using Zaino. I would not use anything else! yazz Zaino is the way to go, here are some suggested steps that I follow: pumpkin We use a lot of different wax's but the one I use the most is the products from "Griot's Garage' Paul I keep expermenting with other waxes but keep coming back to Zaino. It's not cheap but I don't think there's anything quite like it. CWatsonJr Wax... Polish... the never ending debate. Every time you wash your car, you need to do something to get the waterspots off.

NOW YOU CAN CLEAN PAINT WITHOUT POLISHING AND IN A FRACTION OF THE TIME WITH OUR PAINT CLEANING CLAY
Regardless of how clean you think your paint is, there are still contaminants stuck on the paint that you need to remove before waxing or polishing your paint. Paint Cleaning Clay leaves behind an ultra-smooth surface that will make your wax adhere better and last longer, too. It also makes the wax much easier remove, reducing your "elbow grease" substantially. Clay is safe for all paint and also works great on glass to get it squeaky clean. To use, just spray the paint's surface with Speed Shine® (acts as a lubricating fluid), and rub the clay back and forth until there is no drag. This means your paint is clean! Unlike other cleaners and polishes, no buffing or hard circular motions are necessary. Takes literally one fourth the time as it would using paint cleaner! Follow up with Best of Show Wax® and your paint will look stunning! The large 8 ounce bar cleans about 7 vehicles, depending on the amount of contamination your surface is covered with. I urge you to try this clay. The results are amazing! ed monahan When you get your car looking perfect, take a clay bar and do a section behind the front wheels. You will be shocked at the junk you take off of the paint.
